"This was a girls night out and none of us had dined here previously so we had no expectations. We were so pleased with the taste and quality of the food and service. We will definitely return. It was such a great surprise to find this little gem. My only slight criticism was charging $5 for the rolls, they were very good but really who charges for bread and rolls."

"upshot had a wonderful environment and friendly baristas. the coffee was very tasty and had a really rich taste and pay $4.50 for a monster cinnamon roll with a delicious taste and perfectly airy teig was the stealing of the century. if they are looking for a place with comfortable vibes and good drinks for studying or catching up with friends, upshot is the place to go."

"I absolutely love the superfood smoothies at this restaurant! There are endless options to choose from and the staff is always incredibly kind and friendly. In all honesty, the açai bowls are the best I've ever had anywhere. Their immunity-boosting dishes and bulletproof coffee are also amazing and highly recommend. I bring all my friends here and they always enjoy it."

"I’ve been coming here since they opened and these are my thoughts-For the neighborhood the prices are inaccessible. The empanada that was already expensive at $5.75 is now $6.00. That’s not including extra sauce you have to pay for that is not even filled up.In the beginning there were no tips and prices were supposed to reflect the business paying their employees a higher wage. This has has also changed…you now pay more and are expected to tip the employee?The empanadas are okay. And I say this because they just don’t taste like a 6 dollar empanadas. There is little to no seasoning and there is nothing memorable about them.As someone who lives in the neighborhood i really wish I had better things to say about Love, Nelly."
