"Cafe Mambo was a fun find. Classic dishes with an island twist. My son loved his Mambo burger. My husband and I had the fajitas (tuna and local fish). The tuna was so good it was tough to want to put toppings on it. All in all it was a great value and excellent food. One note Pa'ia feels a little darker and less safe in the evening then other locations on Maui. When we go again, I will try to park closer to the center of town in well lit areas."

"We had a reservation for the evening of New Year's Day, made weeks before. When we arrived, the place was shuttered. They had decided to close and didn't even do the courtesy of calling us or even cancelling the reservation from their end. We've been there many times and enjoy the food."
