"We actually came here because we didn 't want to wait an hour a half at Edelweiss. But I was SO GLAD we stayed and gave them a chance. Honestly, as soon as we came through the door and I saw that carpet, I thought, Ooooooh boy, we may have made a mistake.... Sure- the interior is not as trendy as the newer places, and so it 's maybe even a bit dated, but it was clean, well layed-out, and the decorative partitions between tables made it feel more private and very old-school romantic. We were greeted so warmly seated immediately. Our server, an older gentleman named Luis, was attentive without encroaching, professional but personable, genuine and supremely knowledgeable! He served us hot, fresh, (homemade? rolls with whipped butter and they were fantastic. We ordered our drinks and a Seafood Platter appetizer, which included calamari rings, breaded shrimp, crab stuffed mushroom caps. All three were so delicious, I was afraid I wouldn 't save room for my entree! My husband ordered Scallops Lobster Tortellini. It must have been great, because he got quiet and went deep into his happy place while he was eating!I ordered the TriGlazed Salmon- a generous portion gently glazed with dijon, apple, and just a touch of horseradish, served with wild rice and expertly steamed veggies. Both our meals were entirely fresh, expertly prepared, exquisitely plated and piping hot. I ate so much, I wished I was twins! As tempting as the dessert menu was, neither one of us had any room left! I 'm quite intrigued, as the menu seemed steakhouse American Fare but everything was delivered with an almost French flair, yet our host had a Spanish-like accent that wasn 't quite familiar to me (Chilean? Peruvian? Argentinan? Added an all-new meaning to the term international dining! We were unequivocally pleased!Parking: Corner lot means easy in, easy out. Plenty of parking spaces far enough apart that I didn 't worry that my car would get dinged."
