"McDonagh's Pub is a great local pub for meeting neighbors, friends and coworkers for drinks and or food. Nights with live bands can get crowded, but always a fun atmosphere. Only thing we would like to see McDonagh's Pub change is to add a few more items on their menu for vegans. The only option here is a Beyond Burger. While it is a perfectly done burger, a few choices would be welcomed."

Their food is always inventive, fresh, and delicious, the happy hour specials are a great deal, and the staff is among the best you'll find in the city. "Food was terrible I’m sorry to say and we sampled many items. The shrimp served flambé on a skillet was by far the worst. 4 popcorn shrimp, one tomato slice, a couple of onion slices and a few peppers unflavored. I would have been embarrassed to serve it. Zero flavor. We ate because we were very hungry. Trio of dips was a tablespoon of each. The portions were comically small and the only thing they gave in excess was their pita bread. Mussels were cracked with bits of the shells floating in the poached liquid, octopus was average at best, feta fries were again a tablespoon of feta sprinkled with oregano on a bed of fries, just terrible representation of Greek cuisine. I’m sorry but we just moved to the area and we’re hopeful that their marginal yelp reviews were unjustified. Now we know people were generous in their 3 star ratings. It was an expensive experiment to try out that we won’t do again. There has to be decent Greek food in the San Diego market but this place is definitely not it."

"we visit nyc and ate on a Sunday night in sagaponack. in the night before we are eaten in another restaurant that I will check again. the contrast between the two began. sagaponack beats all the right notes. the service was attentive, fast and polite. drinks orders were immediately removed. the atmosphere was calm and subtle. the menu offers a series of small and large shares. we had the risotto with tiger garnel, chorizo, fennel and chili. absolutely delicious. to dessert we had Thai torte, a wonderful combination of sponge cake and Thai tee. the prices were reasonable. sagaponack is located at 4 w. 22d st. it is highly recommended."

It has things you want to eat comfort food is a great way to describe it. It's beyond comfort food though it's real and fresh. There's complexity in design a level of simplicity and taste. Some of the regulars will tell you you should try this or tho eh do what you want. Taste every damn thing. If you go here and you can't find something you like you are in the wrong place. Go here with an appetite you won't leave here with out being fully satisfied. Flavor is in every bite. Drinks are cold and food is hot and fresh made to order. Outdoor seating is available. "The menu is deceptive. There is no vegan bun available for the Beyond Burger. When I inquired about bread as a substitute, I was informed that all of their bread options contain either egg or milk. The rice in the stir fry is cooked with chicken broth and cannot be replaced with vegetable broth. Unfortunately, there are no vegan options available here."
