"We had a very average dining experience at D H. While the restaurant kindly accommodated our reservation change from 2 to 3 people just a few hours before arrival, when we did arrive on time it took a very long time for anyone to even acknowledge us. When we were finally seated it took forever to receive our drinks...our server was very sweet tho. We all had the prix fixe menu...first starter arrived and then the next three were brought out all at once which seemed rushed and odd. The radishes and asparagus were simple but fresh, the liver mousse was excellent but the fried oyster was an after thought with little taste. The pasta course was unbelievably salty to the point where I almost couldn’t eat it...but I did. We all had different entrees...the rice porridge was fabulous ...dotted with fresh peas and herbs, not too rich ...really the best part of the meal. The others had sea bass and duck which they enjoyed. Dessert was a blueberry and shortbread combo that was ok. All in all ...with the exception of the rice porridge...an average meal, I was expecting so much more."
