"I'm always trying to find some hidden gem jamaica food spots in Brooklyn each time I visit and came across this restaurant. I took one look at the pics on google maps and I could tell it was authentic Jamaican food( if you're are Jamaican you know what I'm talking about). I most definitely wasn't disappointed, we certainly enjoyed the food. The Curry goat was tender, flavorful and well seasoned, the fried chicken slightly dry but still good though. Rice n peas was shelly and moist, which is a must. Also, they are very affordable and you'll get your money's worth. You can't beat the portion size for the price."

"I live just down the street and walk over to pick up my pizza when it's ready, bringing it home while it’s still hot. They offer a fantastic thin crust pizza with four toppings at a much lower price than many other local restaurants, and it tastes so much better too. I can't comment on the side dishes, but I absolutely love the pizza!"

"My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We were not disappointed. The service was great and so was the food. We both had the black plate special. I would have never thought to smoke a strip steak. It was very good and cut like butter. I highly recommend mission bbq. If you are a veteran or know one, bring them here to eat. It is all about military service as well as first responders. They do work with homeless veterans also. Come and support their mission! And order the blueberry cobbler!"

"Atmosphere definitely is dedicated to military and first responders. All the walls had various military and sports memorabilia (e.g. jerseys, picture, badges, etc . Got the pulled chicken sandwich with the baked potato as a side and my boyfriend got apulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese. It may be worth mentioning though that just about all the times on the menu are pricedseparately (so there isn 't a single price for an entree with a side . I thought it was cool that they had so many differentsauce options to choose from to put on your food. Overall, sandwiches def provided enough meat to satisfy the average personthough if you have a large appetite you may have to order more than just one sandwich."

"I ordered the Brisket sandwich, beans and Mac and cheese. I choose the more fat bride for my sandwich and it was pretty good. The pages were kind of 'eh' for me. They were not evil in any way, only not up to my standard of Mac and beans (no star deductions). Mission bbq really shone with how excellent their customer service is. The cashier first explained to me the two types of brisket that they have and which are most bought. THEN when my food was ready, the lady showed me the container to make sure everything was okay and what it should look like. That was the real shock for me. I think this is the first place where I was EVER, where the workers show me how my container looks. Then she told me about all kinds of Bbq sauce and gave me one of everyone. 15/10 recommend."

"We were welcomed in as soon as we stepped food doors. The staff was very helpful understanding the menu. The staff also shared names that was very customer service friendly. When we got our food it was perfectly presented and absolutely full of flavor and delicious. They also gave us a free brownie because we had never been to this restaurant. A staff member came over and asked us how her food was and gave us free sandwich coupons for next time which unfortunately we can’t use because we are moving. But overall it was a great experience and I wish we could come back."

"First time here and I ordered the shrimp, rice and beans plate and a chicharrón papusa. I'm Mexican-American so I can't say that I have a lot experience eating Salvadoranian food but I have to say that my meal was very well cooked. It had good flavor, tasted freshly made. My favorite was the papusa. Reminded me of the gorditas I'm used to eating but bigger. My server was pleasant and courteous, no complaints there. The place itself is clean and low key. I would definitely come back."
