"This is an Austin mainstay. I’ve been enjoying Catfish Parlour since the late 70’s and the food has never disappointed me. I’ve been here at least a few dozen times. I always get the fried catfish, Mac cheese and fries. The beer is ice cold and the prices are good for the quality and serving sizes. Today I took my dad and girlfriend. My dads thinks he’s been here before with my mom but it was my girlfriends first time. We arrived before the Saturday evening crowds so we got seated immediately. The service was great as usual. Come hungry or be ready to take home a doggie bag. I recommend not to fill up on the appetizer hush puppies. It hard not to but save room for the main courses. I highly recommend Catfish Parlour next time you visit Austin. Remember, Keep Austin Weird!"
