"The customer service was not good. I went up to order and was asked if order was to go or to dine in. I told her to dine in and they told me I could have a seat and they would take the menu to me. It took more than 10 minutes for me to get a menu. My server only came to my table to give me my food. She had only two tables and was going back and forth to the other one but not to mine. I had my card ready to pay and was ready to go. She never came. I had to stand up, get my own to go box and pay at the register. Not going back."

"My husband and I got some food with barbacoa and the same night my stomach was hurting so bad. The next morning my husband and I were both sick. We had fever, chills, vomiting... all the symptoms from FOOD POISONING. The barbacoa wasn't even good I just ate it because I hadn't eaten anything all day. We were sick for a whole week it was terrible! I will NEVER go to this place again."

"I ordered three small servings of menudo and it was delicious. The only thing missing was limes, but it came with onion, oregano, and toasted bread. The price was a bit high, but the convenience of having it delivered made it worth it."

"Not worth the trip! I do not recommend this place. I was very disappointed with the $6.99 flauta order. They were thinner than my pinky fingers put together, they should add beans or rice and not finely shredded lettuce! ? I ended up ordering a caldo de res, which was not filling at all. For $17.00 you will leave starving!Food: 1/5"

"Was excited to try this place due to good reviews but was left disappointed. The corn was bland no taste at all might as well have been out of the can. The churros were disgusting. The inside was thick and tasteless and not fully cooked. My daughter was excited for the churros and she spit it out and said it tastes weird. I’m not sure if it was an off day or if the reviews are fake from friends and family but it’s a one and done for me"

"Thus is a small intimate place. Not noisy or crowded. Clean and comfortable. Staff is professional and food is amazing. If your from south Texas this will definitely hit the cravings you have. Flour tortillas were on point, not too thin and not too thick. Tamales were good size and had so much flavor. Barbacoa wasn't as greasy as I am used too but still tasted good, fresh. The breakfast menu is all day except pancakes. But the breakfast burritos are amazing. The menudo is not spicy and has great flavor. A small bowl is reasonably good for 1 person. Try ..try...try.....you will make this place a go to for you and your family!!!Vegetarian options: Beans cheese tortas"

"Cook/owner actively and currently ripping off customers with portion and amount. Will not be coming back to support anytime soon. I get that many small businesses are struggling to make ends meet and I am trying to support our locals as much as possible BUT YOU DO NOT RIP OFF YOUR CUSTOMERS! That will always end your business faster than just doing the right thing and offering what's appropriate. Ordered flautas and all the flautas only had 1/4th of the flauta filled like the cook was giving out wartime rations. On top of that, the beef was overcooked! Come on man! This isn't just a one off thing either, look at other reviews and you will see it is a common theme with skimping on melanesa in a torta to skimping out on other items within the tortas."
