"This place used to be decent, now I wouldn't recommend it. Space needs some serious cleaning and better standards. I would rather drive 20 minutes away to get a nice bagel from a clean place with great customer service."

"We just made a sium/70th birthday party in the “back room” of Essen on Coney. Everything was PERFECT! The service was great (kudos to Eric Juliani the food outstanding! They worked with me on the menu, adding, (not even exchanging! when we discussed the different options. Everyone who came was very impressed with how beautiful and tasteful the whole evening was. We recommend highly!"
