"I highly recommend La Riv. It has definitely improved the food and the service. Highly recommend the the short ribs. The shrimp in the shrimp scampi was over cooked (it was rubbery) but it was welled seasoned. The service was outstanding Mandy was one of the best servers/waitresses we have had since our move to Texas five years ago. She is very friendly and very attentive to each of us as customers. Also very efficient and a willingness to listen and learn our dining quirks. If can get Mandy for your waitress you are got to have a very enjoyable dining experience."

"I thought the menu was a bit expensive, there were no vegetables or starch with the rather oily but tasty fish durée, and no bread was offered. also the wine list was overwhelming over $75 per bottle. the cake crust wasn't great for a $10 piece of cake. the room is beautiful"
