"First of all I want to say this ain’t no IHOP. I’ve always passed by this place and said I would try one day. Welp, yesterday was that day and I took my mom toddler with me. The waiter was the most welcoming person throughout the whole stay. I’m so upset I forgot the waiters name but she was very very sweet and accommodating. For my picky 3 year old I ordered the Chocolate Chip Mickey Mouse pancakes it was so cute and surprising an adult size pancake. He ate the whole thing so that was my first sign of greatness, lol. My mom order the B-more Breakfast combo with waffles, scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. She said even without the syrup it was light, tasty and sweet. Mom isn’t fond of restaurant eggs but said these were by far seasoned perfectly were really good and…well…I absolutely agree. Now onto me! I ordered the Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast. You can get the fruity pebbles in the syrup or sprinkled on top which is exactly what I did (suggested by the waiter) because I didn’t want my french toast soggy. Unfortunately no sides come with it so if you want more you’ll have to order them separately. This was very good everything was cooked perfectly and the cheesecake in the middle wasn’t to rich at all. I would order this again for sure. I also ordered the Crab Cake Egg Combo Platter. Now I ordered this crab cake because it’s Guy Fieri’s (Drivers, Dine-In Dives) favorite crab cake. I wasn’t head over heels for the crab cake but it was still tasty the home fries where prepared a little different than what I expected. Now with that being said with the combination of my over easy egg and the crab cake it served its purpose. The textured went well together and the combination of flavor set it off. All in all a very good dish. I damn near ate the whole plate but was stuffed from the French toast. So if you see this place definitely stop by you won’t be disappointed"

"This great little family owned Jewish deli has been around for many years. They moved from 7th Street and Missouri to Glendale and 7th Street in the Safeway plaza. They do all the basics right Like corned, beef, pastrami, bagels, etc. It's a smallish space in a strip mall and the service is typically pretty good and Food comes out of the kitchen quickly. Breakfast is awesome and ranges between 8 and $15. A favorite is their homemade corned beef hash"

"I'm just going here maybe 3 or 4 times a year, but every time I go, I'm given the best service and an excellent burger! I went in, took a window seat, the seemingly multitasking highly competent (and cute) waitress recognized me immediately and said she would be right past with a menu. She returned immediately with my menu and took my drink order. I chose the Border Burger because I like him. I wasn't disappointed. Excellent service, burger made to perfection, water always up. Thank you."

"We decided to have breakfast at this restaurant this morning. We were seated next to a couple who arrived at the same time as us. Despite the fact that the couple was served their coffee and food before we were even greeted by a waitress at our table. Gayle and several waitresses walked past us without acknowledging us. One waitress serving a table close to us seemed like she was going to help us, but then walked away. It was evident that we were not going to be served or even greeted, so we decided to leave. It's a shame because we used to enjoy coming here for breakfast, but it seems like things have changed."

"Amazing! This place was great! My husband had fried the country style Steak Gravy, the steak was great! I had the avocado Benedict and it was delicious, that came with domestic pommes. For all French Fritten lovers make sure you order them! I also enjoyed a caramel signature cappuccino that was great and beautiful! We cut it off and split 1 pancake, which was good. Very recommended a sweet delicious breakfast. The staff was also great!"

"The service is excellent, the atmosphere is cool, and the location is convenient, right across from Belmont. Now, as for the food, the spanakopita is the best I've ever had, no need for tzatziki sauce. It is a huge portion! The calamari was perfectly cooked and seasoned, but the real standout is the house-made marinara sauce. I mean, wow! I would drive two and a half hours just for the marinara sauce alone. It's a must-try!"

"This is the second time we have ordered from Elly apos;s. I wanted to order a second time before rating to make sure our order wasn apos;t a one off. I had the Biscuits Gravy w/a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. Both times we have ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was delicious with generous amounts of gravy and the scrambled eggs were prepared perfectly! Honestly probably the best scrambled eggs I have ever had besides my own. My girlfriend had the Berry Mascarpone Crepes and they were equally delcious. Ellys will be our new favorite for weekend breakfast!!!"

"This was diner is my childhood… and I must say that after the pandemic and the owner not being there it hasn't been the same. The bread be stale, ask them for mozzarella cheese you get cheddar. The food is not the same not tasteful. I tried to give them another chance and this is the 3rd time that they fail with my food! Threw out the food Sorry Georgey buy your restaurant is not the same"
