"I am of the school of thought that no one owes you a good meal. But I am of the school of thought that HEALTH CODES are in place for a reason. I ordered linguine and clams this evening and every clam was full of SAND. The SAND permeated the white wine sauce and therefore there was SAND all thoughout my pasta. I called the restaurant and spoke to Daniel who was just like, why would there be sand in the clams , to which I replied that clams come from the sea floor where there is SAND. And he was just like, uh uhhh I don 't know what to do, they kitchen said they cleaned the clams . No apology, nothing. No acknowledgment of how gross that is. You can 't just rinse off clams. You have to scrub them vigorously with a stiff bristle brush. Otherwise you will serve a meal full of SAND. Today is my birthday and I was looking forward to linguine and clams all day. I can imagine myself eating clams again anytime soon."
