"WARNING: LONG,DELICIOUS REVIEW TO FOLLOW!!! Laid back atmosphere, took me back to my days stationed at ft bragg in North Carolina; very reminiscent of the south. Unless you like true, southern sweet tea, don't get it,is real sweet. I ordered the fried chicken, but made it the dinner with Mac'n'cheese, which was very rich with the different cheeses used, green beans, which had good flavor plus small chunks of ham as well, and fried okra, fried to a perfect golden brown, and topped with a piece of traditional southern cornbread. The fried chicken does take a bit longer than anything else, as its breaded and cooked to order, which takes approximately 15 minutes. It's been a very long time since I've had fried chicken this moist, and not from oil. The dredge,as with everything else, has good flavor and is well seasoned, but not overpowering. There was only one server during my visit; one of the owners, and I've never heard excuse my reach so much in a short period of time. Very well mannered and respectful, as well as knowledgeable of the day's specials. Price wise, it's not over priced, but you get what you pay for,and I was very satisfied with my experience. I will definitely come back when I'm able to do so."
