"I absolutely adore this restaurant located in East Harlem. It's just a ten-minute walk from my place, but it's always worth it. I've been coming here for a few years now and always order the regular jerk and/or pork, oxtail, peas and rice with gravy. The food is consistently fresh and never dry, which is a common issue with Jamaican cuisine in Manhattan. This place has nailed it though. There are only two places in Manhattan where I trust to get authentic Caribbean food, and this is one of them. The rice and beans are perfectly seasoned, a simple yet delicious dish that only a few places in Manhattan get right every time. The staff is fantastic, always polite and attentive. This small business relies heavily on repeat customers, which is a testament to their quality. Despite some unruly customers at times, the staff always handle the situation with grace, providing excellent service with a smile."
