"We had another wonderful special occasion dining experience at Trattoria Romana Wakefield. Our server, Danielle, was highly attentive, patiently listened to and answered our menu and wine list questions. The manner in which the meal was paced was perfect. Not rushed, not too slow, just perfect! The food was incredible! Always consider the specials. We had an appetizer special and two dinners off of the menu. The management comped us two glasses of prosecco for our special occasion. Every employee was cheerful, not intrusive and contributed to the excellence of our visit."

The food was incredible, Ronnie was our server and was highly attentive to any of our needs and the atmosphere was even better in person then the website. Vigan, the manager was so helpful with our reservations, answered any questions that we had and is very patient. He was constantly checking on our party, ensured that we were enjoying ourselves and everything was going accordingly. "We walked in with a reservation for Saturday lunch. The gnocchi was fantastic. As was the the ravioli. A short walk from Bloomingdales. Very romantic and the service was superb. Pricing was reasonable for upper east side dining. The Gnocchi was reasonably priced for lunch at $14. The portion was generous. A must in upper east side. In a nutshell quiet and romantic setting with superb Italian fare."

"Excellent food and service. My first time here. I ordered the special Bronzino dinner. It was beautiful and delicious but a little spicy for my taste. Without hesitation the waiter insisted they make me another which was perfect! I’m dairy and gluten free and delicious food is hard to find in many restaurants. I was also thrilled with the lemon sorbet artfully plated with a currant sauce. And sipped my peppermint tea for a relaxing ending. Definitely coming back!"

"I went to Rico’s tonight for dinner and I want to compliment how the girls handled a situation tonight that I witnessed. I heard them getting yelled at by a customer over a price issue meanwhile another table yelling at the girls for talking to their customers, doing their JOB! I must say you can’t make everyone happy, but the the girl with the glasses who handled the unrealistic customers was very professional. I even got up to joke with her about it because I saw she was upset from being talked to like that not once, but twice. I’m sorry, but it’s noisy in any restaurant and if you don’t want to hear people talking, go eat at home or outside. It’s simple. Aside from that, the food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. All 3 girls working were very attractive, attentive, and smiling. Kudos to whoever made the cellphone rule at Rico’s! Job well done ladies and sorry you had to experience terrible customers tonight! You handled that well. I’ll be back : Robert"

"Mamma Lucia was another preshow dinner [Ave Q Olney]. It's basic Italian with no mistakes. Portions were big. The accompanying bread was good and the dipping oil above average with garlic and parmesan. I was told the chicken parmesan was very good. My vitello penbe in creamy marsala tasted fine if the sauce was a little heavy. Red pepper shakers were part of the standard table setting, a plus. Our server Lauren was good and gamely brought our preshow check early and split it between two credit cards with no fuss. I'll remember Mamma L for future preOlney dinner."

"This was our first time here. We can't believe we haven't been here before. The three of us went to dinner. We ordered a huge fresh veggie pizza that was incredibly delicious. We also order salads that we amazingly big and fresh. The third person ordered the crab pasta and again it was huge and amazingly good. The server was wonderful, adding a very positive first time experience. The manager came around and checked if everything was perfect... and it was! He then treated us to yummy cannoli that we divided as our bells were so full. Speaking full, we had enough left food to take home and eat another food. Finally, the price of everything was reasonable and the restaurant was impeccable... including the bathroom. We'll be back soon!"

"We went for a pre-father day celebration Saturday night and we had reservations for 19:15. When we arrived, our table was ready to go and there was absolutely no waiting time. Our waiter came by and asked us about our drinks, although the restaurant was very busy. We started with the zucchini hairs, they were good, but I don't recommend it. They reminded me of Chinese chicken fingers!, the same doughy consistency. Dinner was nice I have the seafood medley, seafood was very fresh She could definitely say it was not frozen and it was served with tomato sauce. My husband got the gnocchi, it was drowned in tomato sauce, but it was good and he enjoyed it. Overall it was a nice evening, food was good and the service."
