"So my husband and I were told this place was nice for a night out. We have not had date night in a while and decided to check this place out. We are a black couple and we went roughly about 7pm on a Thursday Night . When we got the door. We just stood there waiting to be seated or told where we could go for at least 10 mins. however we were ignored and the staff all looked at us. I didn’t know what to make of that other than they didn’t want us there. So we just left."

"Room was nice and cozy, but something sticky on the floor so I can't give it 5 stars. Didn't really have much interaction with staff other than check in and the women at the desk were friendly. Did not eat or drink there. Location is very nice and within walking distance to a lot, however, the shopping area is like a ghost town with maybe a handful of stores that are open. Rather depressing. I realize it's not the hotel's fault but for a city, other than the aquarium and eating/drinking there isn't much around anymore."

"Only reason I rate the ambiance a 4 is because it’s not super swanky. It’s more Trattoria (small and quaint and not fancy). They put more effort into their food (and I think wine) which is more important if you ask me. VERY inviting/warm people/service. If you can’t find something that suits your tastes and you that you really like, then it might be you. Then again, f it really is your food, SPEAK to them, because they will make it better/right (note above service comment)."

So it’s very nice to have a place that’s presents a wide-ranging menu (steaks to vegetarian), a seemingly endless variety of beers, decadent desserts, and do so with a smile. Extra points for separating the enthusiastic (loud) sports fans in a bar area from the quieter family/friends in the dining room. "If you are looking for an amazing brunch spot, look no further than Blue Moon Taphouse! Located in Waterside, this restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, with amazing water views and a wonderful breeze. The food is elevated bar food with a yummy twist. I had the jalapeno avocado chicken burger and it was absolutely delish! I definitely recommend adding on the extra avocados that really takes it over the top! The tuna tataki appetizer was delicious as well, absolutely recommend!"

"A friend recommended Sprig Market Cafe located in West Long Branch several weeks ago. Needless to say we have been back 3 weekends in a row and are already planning our next visit. Owned and operated by Chef Samuel Witten and his beautiful better half Kimberly, every dish we have tried (appetizer, entree and dessert) has been every bit of fantastic, down to the last morsel. Whether you are in the mood for pasta, seafood, chicken, steak or something off the vegan menu, the fresh, innovative offerings will have you coming back. On their website, Sam and Kim aptly sum up their philosophy: “FOOD IS ART THAT NOURISHES THE SOUL”. With that I wholeheartedly agree. Run don’t walk to this gastronomic museum. You will not be disappointed!"

"How things have changed and not for the better. It's been about 3 years since we were there last. First things first, the service was very nice. Pleasant and friendly. Secondly, the meal, not so much. Steak Au Poivre is NOT served as a half-inch thick over done strip steak smothered with some sort of mushroom sauce ever. It is a Filet with a Cognac cream sauce with a heavy accent of black pepper. Don't take shortcuts with such an elegant dish. The filter on the menu was only 2 dollars more, so why not use the steak it was designed for? The chicken pasta and veggies dish was also very unappealing. Lacked a good amount of veggies, and the chicken breast was dry and tasteless. This was our favorite place on the island for many years, but with food like this, we will pass."

"This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood. There are a few improvements needed, such as adding a bit more spice to the tacos, but the portions are generous and the beers we tried were excellent. The double IPA and porter were especially impressive, and the Belgian Tripel had a satisfying finish. We will definitely be returning, as the atmosphere is enjoyable and the staff are friendly."

"Great food and Music! Went there to see a band and was totally surprised at the food the the staff. The worst meal I had there was very good. The hamburgers are awesome, the steak sandwich is the BEST in Richmond, salads are fresh. We go there about once a month and are always surprised at how good the dishes are no matter what we order!"

"Burtons is a large Lil bar and grill #burtonsgrill Big bartenders that are on site with drinks. A friendly crowd with plenty of seating. A drop of lance from the door for convincing. The whole food is spectacular here, but my #favorite next to the cocktails is the burger, boiled for perfection. There are many parking spaces on the military near Clinton Moore. High energy and superior service make this a 5 stop in my book."

"Manager does not belong in this type of business. He is rude and does not conduct himself cordially. Food was very bland. $14 for a small plate of veggies that was just thrown together and had no presentation. The fish dip was spoiled and the best thing about the lobster roll was the crisp toasted bread. The owner needs to change MANAGEMENT. I DO NOT AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!"
