"Excellent food. I wish we got our waitresses name, but she was exceptional. Only thing I did not care for is being told they had another reservation after us and that we needed to be done by 7:45. Doesn’t allow to linger over drinks and possible dessert. We left our table at 7:48. Overall food was great, 3 of us for the scallop pasta and the other the crab cakes. Two got an order of oysters, one the cooked oysters, and one got the lettuce wraps. All good, will definitely come back on our yearly trips to the OBX."

"Paper thin pizza at a higher cost then most. No sign notifying customers of an additional charge when using credit cards. (You can file a complaint with your credit card company to get your entire payment back if no sign is displayed in the restaurant notifying you of such payment, I've already done so. The bathroom door always has an out of order sign even though it works perfectly. Very deceptive, go elsewhere. Purchase from a place you can trust."

"the cocktails here deserve a star on their own – we had the mai tais (strong as the classic, with a twist – pineapple sausage and the tiny bubbles (vodka, elderflower sirup, rose, soda, grapefruit.) they made the crisp vegan for us, and that was our favourite dish from far – very well prepared, fresh, inspired. also it was good to eat. the mushroom poke had beautiful texture taste. edamame was quite oily. veggie burger was somehow boring in simple brot, not much going on when they remove the non-veg fabric. (I always say: what would your veg burger not be vegan?! friendly server."

"Sorry to say that our Mother's Day dinner was not a good experience. Of course pleasing my mother and sister in laws was my primary goal ;I was given the task of finding a restaurant near my mother in law's home. All the restaurants on Open Table were booked until Monday! I had been here years ago when it first opened hoping it would be a neighborhood gem. The place was practically empty when we arrived at 5 pm.and when we left only a small handful more had arrived. I felt sorry for everyone. The food was okay and the price average. The service came with many apologies and excuses. Timing of the meals were all random. We left feeling underwhelmed, to be polite. Sorry. I wish I could have taken the time to research the reviews before hand. Lesson learned."

"We sat 20 mins before being served. Finally one of the waitors came over and asked if we had been helped. We were not in his area but I guess saw us there with no drinks or water. Surprisingly, the manager walked by a couple times, looked at us, saw only our menus but never stopped to ask if we were helped yet. We have eaten here before, last time service was great but it now seems it is not consistent. Food is always good there, I guess it's a roll of the dice for service."

"A friend told us about the seafood at Brighton Beach Bagel Bakery, so that is what we went to try. This place is not fancy but it was clean. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Everyone was friendly. The food was served hot and as ordered. It was very good and it was nice to find a place with whole belly clams, outside of New England. Our group ordered a lobster salad sandwich (medium size), New England clam chowder and clam cakes, fried whole belly clams and a grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was tasty. Clam cakes were a little dense, but still very good. I looked at what they had at the bakery, but did not buy anything. It was about 6:30 so the bakery cases were not as full as they probably were in the morning, but what they had looked good especially the Linzer cookies, which I will go back to buy. We thought everything was reasonably priced and we will go back."

"I absolutely hated the band at this restaurant. They were unable to sing, way too loud, and their music selection was awful. Our table was situated right behind a speaker, making it impossible to even talk to the other couple with us. We requested to be moved, but were unable to due to other reservations. Despite this, the food and waitress were excellent. We make it a point to request the same waitress every year, as she is fantastic - Kendall Patterson. If the same band is playing next year, we will not be returning. Their performance nearly ruined our romantic evening, but thankfully they stopped playing for the remainder of the night."

"Worst experience! We made reservations for what they advertised as a Valentine’s Day Experience, $125. When we got there, we waited exactly 28 minutes to be seated after asking two staff members to help us since there was no one working the front desk. When we finally got seated, we weren’t offered a menu or waters. We had to wait to catch the attention of a server who took our order, still not offered any drinks to include water. We got the food exactly 54 minutes after placing the order. The food was terrible. We had to ask for utensils and water. I understand the restaurant was short staffed but it shows lack of care from the management because they were no where to be found. The servers spoke broken English which tells me that they don’t care about projecting a good image and not many people want to work there."

"Saw Cody Canada and the departed! The restaurant was slow and food was ok. The venue outside was nice. Service staff was on point. However some weird owner from a mattress company/ furniture store in Tomball was giving away coupons on stage. lol funny thing. But never the less I guess awesome free advertising. Had fun!"

"This is my mine and my husbands go to place for Saturday date night. We try something new every time we go. The portions are very generous so recently we 've been splitting a plate and ordering an extra salad and even with doing that we take home leftovers. Always delicious!"

"The food here is great. Especially Burger. More parking spaces on the back, so if you are here and it looks full use the back door. Right opposite the river. If it rains a lot, maybe you don't want to go here, it's in a flood zone, but they have the flood walls. Great place to go for beer too. One of my favorite places in the Kankakee region. "We had an amazing meal at this restaurant! The clam chowder was absolutely delicious and very rich and creamy. We also tried the haddock fries, which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crispy. This was definitely the best meal we've had in Maine. We went early before the dinner rush, so we had the dining room all to ourselves. Overall, we give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect rating of 5 out of 5."

"I made reservations for our son and husband's birthdays and noted it on the reservation request and James our server, remembered them with birthday cake slices, one chocolate and one lemon, no charge and even sang Happy Birthday with a candle on it. Fried calamari was light and crispy not greasy! The entrees were good: crab stuffed salmon, royal cod, paella and steamed mussel and clams. The dressing for the side salad was vinaigrette but it was too sour."

"The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, all of which were enjoyed by all four members of our group. The portions were large and the service was attentive. The only downside was the desserts - we ordered two, but they were not very good. Despite this, I would definitely go back again."
