"1. Here, finally decided to try it after driving many times. It was worth it!!!! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. From host dinner to waitress Shelby? to manager. Everybody was great! There are great seating on the 1st and 2nd floor, closed outdoor seats and many screens to watch your favorite sports. Shelby our waitress, helped my friend and me with suggestions from the menu. She was here! We really enjoyed our drinks, appetizers and meals. When we demanded a replacement side dish, it was immediately changed. I highly recommend this place for its location (see from the street, lots of parking), food, atmosphere and excellent service! I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes! We ordered Carolina Wings (Siracha and Honey), Mt. Olive Pickle Chips, Caesar Salad, Chef cut of the day, perfectly cooked, and French Dip. Delicious?"

"I already wrote this review once, and for some reason it wouldn’t let me finish with my private note because it didn’t like my nickname, but it didn’t say so. Doing a review for another restaurant I realized that was why it wouldn’t go. Anyway, we’ve been to fire and ice many times And never been disappointed but this time which was a special birthday celebration for two of the four of us, they seated us at a great table, round, and in front of the fireplace. I thought, “ this is perfect” quotation marks. And it was for a short time. then one of the staff, proceeded to spend quite a bit of time at a computer to our left, and making comments on our conversation. Totally inappropriate. One at our table, was reluctant to even speak, as she had some private things she wanted to discuss. The food was pretty good. Except the fish in the tacos was a little dry. The free desserts were delicious and much appreciated. And our waitress was wonderful."

"Waiting to be seated took a long time, even after I mentioned to the hostess that I had joined the waitlist. Once we finally got to our table, we had to wait another 10 minutes for a server to come over. When she did, her approach was quite abrupt—she jumped right in with “What do you want?” instead of offering any sort of greeting. However, once we placed our orders, things improved. The food arrived promptly, but the chicken fajitas lacked flavor. On the bright side, the elotes were fantastic!"

"James Hoban's is always a fun spot for a casual bite great service and fun atmosphere. It can get a little loud in the bar area, but there's seating in the back that mitigates that issue. The patio area is one of the best in DC a great venue to while a way a few hours on a spring evening."

"I have never been treated quite as rudely as I was the night that seven friends and I went here for dinner. We were treated as if we were second class by the server and management. We left after a drink and looking over the menu. I have eaten in some fine restaurants, many in NYC, that were finer than this one. However, they were as they say in the south ;uppity ;, myself I considered their attitude pompous and self important. You want RUDE and impolite... then by all means go here for a meal. Take your friends so that they can experience it too. It was charming to be treated as if you were sitting below the salt. Everyone should have this feeling in a place they intended to spend an evening with friends. DONT MISS IT."

"Overall a great experience, the artichoke appetizer was fantastic, the other food was good, the smashed fried potatoes could have been crispier and my shrimp was just a tad overcooked. The pasta seemed homemade and was deliciously prepared. We would go again!"

Wednesday evening octoberfest dinner with a groupon. very difficult time to make a reservation. trummers phone system blocks all phone calls that do not display the caller number and caller ID. the hostess on the phone was annoyingly controversial. "we came for Thanksgiving course. it was a bit overwhelming. first we had reservations, checked, then the hostess has forgotten us until after 20 minutes later I asked about our table. animated at night, so the service was slow. the floor around us was not clean. the first appetizer was a tiny part of the raw vegetables. the Turkish breast was dry and prime rib and pumpkin beignets ran out. it was a busy night of course, but the service was average. only expects much more in all aspekte for $90 pp. they additionally charge $9 for using a credit card. the best dings were squash soup, kartoffel and pecan pee. next year, definitiw to stay home. not worth it."

"We had an amazing experience at the Front Porch yesterday. I thought that a reservation would not be required and was not correct for prime dinner hours. We were offer a high top in the bar area but went to the bar instead and that turned out to be perfect. The bartender was very gracious, friendly and made fanastic featured drinks that you should try on your own. Sal, the Chef, prepared mahi mahi with crab imperial that is to die for. That was on top of homemade cabbage and bacon along with potatoes. My wife had New York strip with crab scampi that was very good. All was delivered by Sal and when he returned to the bar area, we complimented him on the awesome meals. All other employees were very friendly as they chatted with us as the created custom drinks for their patrons. I can't wait to back back and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thanks Sal."

"We both had the wild mushroom and swiss. Asked for it rare/as rare as they would cook it, came out medium rare. Great sauce on it kept it from being a dry burger. Very messy but very good. One order of fries and one of sweet potato fries, both came out with regular fries. Eric, the manager, realized the order was wrong as soon as he put it on our table and went back to the kitchen to get sweet potato fries. They were okay, not great. Server was very attentive."

"I suppose I would recommend it for after work events, especially if they can be held in a separate room. I really do not care for the noise level in there, though. There is NOTHING to absorb the noise in that place only hard surfaces for the noise to bounce off of. Very annoying. I do not like to have dinner with others when I literally have to shout across the table to be heard. That is ridiculous! I will not be back until that is changed. If it is not changed, I will never return. You may be going for the industrial look , but that just doesn 't work in a restaurant environment."

"it was our first visit here. I had auberginen parmigiana, it was good. it came with a side of pasta that was cold and saw and tasted like food business quality. the kalamari was outstanding! the tiramisu was fantastic. my man had the steak and it was perfectly cooked and it was good he had also the oreo cake that he sworn our waitress was the hilight she was absolutely one of the best .sweet informatiw I wish I could remember her name we sat on the back at the drink area and she had sandy blonde we ate about 5:30ish ...
