"I'm just giving 3 stars because of the service we received tonight. We are locals to Annapolis and we love the place! We go there a few times a week, Mark the bartender so beautiful and almost all there. Tonight we went there with our friends and I ordered a slightly dirty martini that I had ordered almost every time I went there. The Martini was dirty Thai I really liked it and I asked the waitress if she can make less dirty, less olive juice. She stood there to argue with me that she had only little olive juice at one point was very unpleasant. Very disappointed by the way she treated herself and the thing that if I wasn't there with a friend, I would have risen and gone. She finally took it back and made it to my wishes, but the evening was ruined for me. All I ask for Rustikal, please train your staff! We also ordered the special fish that they have later to find out they ran out of Halibut. We ordered the rock fish instead of the main menu. I had it last week and I really enjoyed it. The waitress suggested that they could blur if they want, and we said yes. 2 of the rock dishes that were dipped black came out with different risotto and vegetables. The original one of our other friends ordered came out with the original Risotto and the Broccoli. I was sure why they decided to change the whole dish just because we wanted the fish to be blackened. Not one of the dining rooms on this place. Too bad because one of our friends has never eaten there."

"I have been coming to G&B for over 15 years. It’s been a few years since I’ve been since the pandemic started and I live in Canada. That being said it’s always been the same food and the same service. This time we went they changed their formula for the lobster rolls and discontinued the alligator ribs. The were two staple items that I have literally enjoyed consistently for over a decade and was always part of the itinerary whenever we would visit florida (usually 1-2 times Per year). The lobster roll was packed with lobster as usual but it lost its charm being served in the little rolls with cheese and bacon. This was now served cold and was a more mature taste but it lacked it previous flavour. The lack of alligator ribs was also a missed favourite but changes happen. The grilled oysters were delicious and had a good kick to them. To top it off the coconut cheesecake with berry drizzle was phenomenal. Staff taking the booking at the front were somewhat unpleasant but our waitress was great and helpful with making suggestions. This has been the most consistent restaurant I’ve ever visited so it was disappointing to see the menu changed after over 10 years of having the exact same items that we grew to love. If you are patient enough to wait for the outdoor seating with a view, it’s worth it. Expect minimum 30 min wait times on almost any day or time you visit."

"This was our 7th visit to the bistro, and it was a special event (our wedding anniversary). My husand and I cannot get enough of the fantastic, rich, and savory dishes that the Chef keeps bringing in to our lives. We wish we could visit more, but with the economy we try to eat out less frequently. The evening started out with them giving us a quiet window table that was romantic… You wouldn’t believe how often you make reservations to a place and you ask for something special and you end up sitting in the worst place. The bistro staff definitely took care of us, especially because I have bad food allerigies. We usually end up with the same server, which we dont mind. Its great to see familiar staff. We started off with a bottle of red wine that we brought in and the marinated olives. They say warm, but they come out hot, delicious, and tender with lots of spice and saltiness. Our second courses (I had) the mix greens with a basil dressing, sweet corn, and tomatoes. (my husband had) the heirloom tomato gazpacho which was spicy, chilled and very flavorful. Came out in yellow which suprised me because ive never seen a yellow gazpacho but our server was happy to explain it was because of the local grown tomatoes which are naturally yellow and green. Third Course: I had the Fish special which was the Halibut on sweet corn, potatoes, and zucchini and topped with a tomato sauce. The kitchen was gracious enough to change the dish since I cant have dairy. My husband had a Spaghettini Prunesca which is something he hasnt had since he was in Europe. He loved it and said that it was an interesting interpretation of the dish with seafood and lots of herbs. Finally, we finished off the dinner with the sorbets which are made in house. Strawberry, honeydew, and another melon. We couldnt keep from devouring those since its been so warm lately. The server then surpised us with a complmentarty glass of port for our anniversary. Theres no doubt in my mind that the warm, and friendly service staff and great food is what makes this place so unforgetable! Thank you Bistro for having such a wonderful staff and inventive dishes to keep our taste buds interested and wanting more. You made our anniversary a special night to remember"
