"As for dinner, each bite was a delight (kudos to the chef team working behind the scenes)! Peter, who also serves as the sommelier, has a remarkable talent for curating a list of intriguing and unique wines, cocktails, and vermouths. The menu changes regularly to feature seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, and we’ve always been thrilled with what the kitchen creates. The fresh ravioli with short rib and mushrooms was particularly outstanding!
We almost skipped dessert but were easily persuaded to try the pear tart, and it certainly did not disappoint! Made with pears from the property, it had a perfect buttery crust and a delightfully sweet, gooey sauce topped with a dollop of peppercorn cream that absolutely blew us away. Peter paired the dessert with an incredible Spanish vermouth, and even three days later, I’m still thinking about how well it complemented the dish—it was that good!
