"Everything at The Wooden Nickel was great. However, the service was outstanding. We started with cocktails: a cinnamon toast crunch martini and salted caramel apple mule, which were both like desserts. We enjoyed the Ma! The Meatloaf and Capo dei Capi Chicken as entrees. The presentation of the meatloaf was especially nice. It tasted as good as it looked. All of the flavors melded together nicely from the jalapeño cheese bread to the whipped potatoes and bacon wrapped meatloaf with crunchy onion rings and a hint of barbecue sauce. The chicken was also tasty. We got so much to eat that we didn't have room for dessert. We look forward to returning."

"Easy to get to but set back from noise and visual pollution. Elegant atmosphere with cloth napkins and table coverings, real stonework, and room to move about. Pleasant and attentive wait staff, excellent food with attractive presentation."
