"I have been going to Chopt once a week for awhile, but I’ve noticed that lately they started to skip ingredients when making my salads. At first I thought it was accidental, but now it feels intentional, like maybe they’re skipping ingredients to make a bigger profit? Example… 3 weeks ago I ordered a Santa Fe salad, which comes with avocado. I didn’t notice until after I got it, no avocado. One week later, I go back. Ordered the exact same salad. Different person helped me this time. When it got to the chopper, I noticed as he was mixing my bowl that it didn’t have avocado. I asked him about it, and he confirmed there wasn’t any in it and so then it was added. Today, I went back a 3rd time. A different person helping me. Same salad, same exact thing, except this time I was watching them like a hawk. She passed my salad to the chopper after skipping the avocado and I caught her and said she forgot the avocado. No apologies from anyone whenever I caught it was missing, and whenever they’ve had to add it they look above and past me, as if they know they were caught and don’t want to look at me. It’s bizarre. But that’s 3 times in a row they skipped the avocado, which is the premium ingredient. Between that and their reaction each time, it’s hard for it to not feel intentional… A shame because I like Chopt salads."
