"Location Don 't let the neighborhood scare you ... well maybe a little . You would never except how cozy and charming this little place is! It was very busy when we arrived. Preview I will start by saying I 've paid a lot more money for food that didn 't taste half as good as this did. To all my foodies out there THIS IS THE PLACE! Food All 5 of us throughly enjoyed our meals never have I tasted fried chicken like this, well seasoned, tasty, crispy, crunchy.. it 's really that good. I had the shrimp and grits which I slowly savored each bite . I tasted the biscuits and gravy which is not your typical dinner style, this is elevated +10 rich! Drinks We (5) agreed that the drinks didn 't quite pop as the food did. tried 2 cocktails, tasted ordinary. Service overall good. Food came out pretty quickly. As I mentioned it was busy and we get it, but upon receiving the check and asking to split they said they couldn 't too busy. Stayed a bit longer and things died down and asked to split in 2 and we got the same we can 't . M We will be back for sure bc the food was that good. Thanks again!"
