"The food is as good as it looks! Let me just say the owner Erin, who is a real uprising and was very generous enough to talk to me and my friend about great places and eat in Chicago. Very friendly and welcoming and its restaurant is really a wonderful place to immerse and get a taste of New Orleans. Also our waiter Jeanna was so phenomenal in the statement of the courts and helped us very much when we decided to choose. We go the fried chicken meal, which is only so rich with flavors and well prepared for definitely that! Also the Jambalaya is a true taste you get from New Orleans when you get so many different tasty varieties in a bowl! The crabcases were very good and had a mixture of bread and pecan that was so good was not expected that! For dessert we have the chocolate pecan bee with fruits above and it was one of the best desserts I ever had! Hurricanes are also a great drink. Really a great place to get a dish to get a taste of New Orleans! You will not promise to be disappointed that!"

"Stopped in for an early birthday dinner because this spot has been on our radar for a long time and we love NOLA. Our waiter was attentive and not only answered questions but provided great recommendations. The food was phenomenal and the music took us back to those brass bands marching through the streets."
