"This was the worst experience ever! The server was incredibly rude for no reason at all. She only acknowledged half of our table and took the order of my friend who wanted to pay at the same time. She completely dismissed my order and one of my friends didn't even receive their drink. When the friend who paid wanted to order takeout, the server rudely said it was too late and refused to allow it. When my friend wanted to ask her about it, she ignored her and only focused on the other half of the table. When I politely mentioned this to her, she screamed in my face and even called security on me. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially coming from someone with over a decade of experience in the service industry. Eventually, they had to make the friend who paid eat and I can confidently say I will never return to this restaurant. It was a complete waste of time and money."

"I love the restaurant. Our experience this weekend was good, but we did have one problem. I made reservation earlier that day, upon arrival they advised our table wouldn't be available for 20-25 minutes, it was about 30 before we were seated. It was loud in the restaurant but not a huge problem for my group. Food was hot upon arrival and very good. I understand things happen in restaurants that hostess cannot control; however, a nice gesture might have been for the restaurant Mgmt to offer a free drink while we waited or a free dessert as a token."

"Our food was amazing but our experience was not. We looked very carefully for a place to spend our anniversary and this place let us down. I don’t know if it was because we were a younger couple or they forgot to ask us but asked everyone else around us “are we celebrating anything special”. We did not come here to get free things but would have like to been asked if we were celebrating something special and treated as if we were more than just kids. If you are younger and celebrating something special I don’t recommend coming here as the older customers seem to be more important. The food was very good though."

"We are from Pennsylvania and travel 4 times a year to Roanoke, we love this place we were there last night, and as always eat and drink perfection! My husbands, who are very futile, have blackened Catfish. I had the Zydeco Catfish dinner of my Fav, and we met New Orleans, this food is Top Notch! We'll be here until 20. "I have once in the month natural protein fix, I decided to visit st. charles tavern donnerstag steak W/Loaded baked potatoes night. a friend and I went early because there is special all day and we wanted to catch happy hour for well. we were greeted by the Bartender/Server. immediately after entering the tavern. Yes, the place was practically empty. I started with a delish good margarita and my friend had a domestic beer and boudin balls that were delish. next we had the steak special, the ribeye was a total surprise for me because the port of call' lack of luster steak does not even measure this steak by far. the ribeye was delicate, moist, grilled to perfection. overall experience, I am sure back"

"I made a Yelp account just so that I could leave this review. We stumbled upon Tony's when all of the more popular places in the area had hour long wait times. Cute atmosphere, very family friendly. We had the debris fries which were topped with probably a half pound of roast beef. My husband had the chili burger, amazing chili. I had the shrimp poboy. It was piping hot and fresh and spilling with shrimp. Needless to say they are not stingy with the portions. Our server was very sweet and attentive. I would 100% eat here again!"

"This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Madison-Mandevile-Covington triangle. The view is unbeatable from the large porch overlong the Ponchartrain. The food has always been good, seasoned perfectly. Seafood or steaks, you can't go wrong. The staff has always been great and attentive. On this trip we had sautéed Crab claws and royal red shrimp (Excellent) Ribeye and shrimp, and key lime pie."

"the oysters were very good. had that trio, rockefellers were the best I ever had. the service was very fast, even for a Friday night. the entries were not so good. gator cakes were strange and unpleasant. my first gator, but not what I expected. fried catfish was with beerbatter and not well married. hush puppies were understated. roasted boobs were so salty. cabernet wein was bland. when they go, they will stay to the oysters and beer and they will not be disappointed. they remain clear from at least the above mentioned entreen."

"This review is specifically in regards to their Sunday brunch. The food is good but not the best. On the menu at says you get a fruit cup with your entree but we did not receive that. We or told it came with a biscuit. We ended up getting the biscuit after we finished our meals when the waiter asked if we wanted some fresh jam with it, of course we said yes. I was surprised when he brought out packets of Smucker's grape jelly. I also noticed the biscuits were from a can rather than homemade. The service was very slow for the number of people in the room compared to the wait staff. I don't mind waiting for good food but I expect the drink refills more regularly to the point or you don't have an empty glass. Overall for the price point the service and food did not match."
