"WELL WORTH A VISIT! The menu is smaller simpler than it used to be pre pandemic, and the usual post pandemic restaurant blips abound (too few servers, a teaspoon rather than a soup spoon provided for our soup, one incorrect drink brought but we didn't say anything : because we know they are trying hard! . Nevertheless, this place has a fabulous chef. Every appetizer and entrée we ordered was totally delicious! We sat out on their nice patio and enjoyed our meal immensely. We tipped well despite the blips because every restaurant is having these issues, and we customers have to help them get back on their feet! We will definitely return to 71 Saint Peter."

"Cute little place, although somewhat cramped. Bruschetta was cracker like and arugula was wilty. Salmon was meh, black rice was tasty. Service was not good! Both waitress and subsequently manager had superior attitudes and excuses when a small adjustment to service was requested. Service industry folks need to learn to fix the problem and move on."

"We ordered here for a while, it was great first....now the food quality is terrible. You simply throw dishes with no love or thought, it is sloppy and if you want cold meatballs and sauce, this is the place now. The lasagna is now shorter than the chicken parm and the part is not present nearby. Especially to load the amount they do is not ok and a demolition. We are looking for a new Italian place, not calculating someone near $70 for 2 dishes and a cheesecake. It's not a nice place to eat.... I hope they can get it back."

"While on a stroll we happened to land upon this cozy place. We were a party of 8 around noon and didn't take too long to be seated. Mango lemonade was very tasty, subtle on the mango. The meals were of mixed reviews. Lets start with what went really well. The fish taco's were fresh and tasty. The sauce it came with was spicy with good flavor. My son ordered chicken and fries and felt the fries were tasty but felt the chicken was sub-par. I took a few bites of the chicken and it was tasty but I would say a little greasier than what I would like, the crust was dripping oil and the fries were quite greasy as well despite being seasoned well. The calamari was rubbery and also felt like it met the fate of being oily as well. Shrimp scampi was excellent and tasty, perfectly seasoned. The wedge salad was also excellent. Two of the girls had fish and chips, plates were empty so I'm going to assume they loved it as there were no complaints. Probably give this place 3.5 stars given we were about 3 dishes out of 8 which didn't make the cut. I think there may be room for improvement here but it is not a 3 star place for sure. Excellent staff, excellent location, our server Kayla was excellent and accommodating"

"Family and I lived in club quarters for Son's brain surgery at UCSF for 9 days. There were days I spent alone, with family members and the whole family there and fish and farm was such a comfort for all of us. Stefan was so hospitable, he remembered that I liked Hibiscus at breakfast, always remembered what my children liked to drink and was always so nice to us and my little dog. The food was delicious, so plentiful and the atmosphere was really comforting for us during this trial period. It is a beautiful place and they have shows and ample seating down and on the main level and a large large beautiful bar. They also make great cocktails."

"In my opinion, the steak tacos at this restaurant have the best taste, although they may not have scored the highest overall due to the heat factor. The chicken tacos may have a higher overall score, but that is mainly due to their heat level. With a simple addition of hot sauce, the steak tacos could easily surpass the rest. I suggest adding pickled onions to the steak tacos for an even better flavor. Overall, I love this place and frequent it often, sometimes spending hours here. The staff is fantastic and I would highly recommend tipping them generously."
