"We have always enjoyed the ambiance and the food here, and enjoy going when on this side of town. Our last time here we hope was an anomaly all around because it was not good. The waitress was good. The food was not. Mashed potatoes with the steak were actually cold (plate itself was hot we went specifically for the Mac n cheese which used to be a delicious bubbly baked entree. This visit, it was served like an afterthought- a few noodles mixed with sauce on a plate. It was a disappointing lesson learned. The waitress actually brought up accommodating part of our bill because she even felt bad at what she was serving. We still made sure to tip her adequately because the food quality was not her fault. If we try it again, will definitely order something less expensive."
