"400 was near empty at lunch time on a Sunday. I sat outdoors amidst scaffolding. They were serving brunch and it was simply not an appetizing menu but alas I was hungry. So, I ordered two appetizers; one, fried cheese, was delivered cold. The other appetizer was good but the grilled bread that came with the meatball appetizer was inedible. The olives that were brought out per my request had lost their body and were very mushy and unappetizing. But mid-level food was not the biggest issue. This restaurant directs its waiters to only care for their table. There is zero team-based approach (which is widely employed in many of Dallas' top restaurants). Every waiter/waitress is on their own ... which was a bummer for the guests ... because even though my waiter only had two tables (among a total of four tables I noticed seated), he was noticeable absent and no other service help (not the host, not the management, not the other waiter) would even look my direction even when I clearly, audibly asked for assistance. Dallas ... go somewhere else to eat ... my suggestion: the Monarch where in three successive nights this past week, their team based approach and food did not miss."
