"For Oakland restaurant week, my friends and I decided to partake on their Prefixed menu. After ordering all the courses, a last minute party of 20 people sat down on top of an extremely large take out order that was called in. I had to wait an hour after ordering for the first course, which was soup, and then no more dishes ever came to the table. Although we had a reservation, we were ignored by the waitstaff for the impromptu party of 20 or continually lied to about our dish being almost ready every 30 mins. If the waitstaff was more honest, I would have been able to eat dinner somewhere else and still made it to my evening plans. Overall, they didn't charge us for the soup and drinks we received for the 2 hours we were there. Honestly. I've had lots of wonderful experiences in the past at Chop Bar but this visit was by far the worst."
