"Overall, it was a great first visit and we will likely find our way there in the future. One note, which they have no control over, is that the planes taking off from the very near by PDX can get pretty noisy if you're sitting outside. Otherwise, the outside patio made for a beautiful view, and the sunset was spectacular!"

"We had a excellent dining experience, we were very early and they were able to seat us, thank you to Jax. Our server ‘Laura’ was very personable, loved her input about what we were considering ordering, and she was right on! Our dinner choices were so tasteful, the presentation was excellent also. We were celebrating our anniversary, Salty’s made it extra special with rose petals sprinkled on our table, a hand written card, plus excellent service!!! I can’t wait to go back again, with the view of the river, great treatment from the time we walked in to great food and service by our server. The Lange’s"

"for the first time in the restaurant we liked the ambiente. we were greeted by the owner and we had a very sweet server! we chose the pear and pear salad that was huge. for the main course we had the hamburger their signature burger nothing special only salat tomaten etc). and the flounder with lobster and garnel that was delicious! the prizes were a little from $16 for the burger and $38 for the flounder! the sorbet was great real gelato a limone and the tiramisu was also good."

"this place is located in the inner city of glen elynn. parking can have a lot to do, but it is in the graves you can finally find parking so not too bad. there was a 40-minute waiting time on a Friday night. the ambiente is pretty cool, hip and something uplifted, trendy location. our server pedro was great. friendly, great service and suggests good food for apps we have tried the fritten zucchini, and there was a special calamari dish and I would say I had a lot of calamari decorated in past, but I would say that is the best so far. my wife has the vodka pasta. it was okay, pretty thick dish. I have the Italian pizza that was very good. overall I had a good experience with this facility. I would recommend this place."

"The waiter had no personality so he came off rude, he forgot about us (party of 3) when two other parties got there so it took forever to get our bill. He looked like he didn’t want to be there. One of the hostess was great and kind and dressed sexy but appropriate. The others dressed a little “skanky” if you will. Since this is a new place I would think they’d be on their A game but it was just ok. This is sad because the food was actually tasty."

"sat for date night with my wife, service was ok..wine was good, bark meattar was really good, the well-fled oysters were best moderate and from any reason we are not served over ice. they were room temperature and not pleasant at all for $42 a dozen. the escaped were extraordinary. we have the scallop risotto and the grouper special. could have been 4 stars if the oysters were not such a disappointment."

"I had an event at Bacaro and the team, especially Bill, the owner, was so wonderful through the entire planning process and the day of the event! My guests enjoyed it very much! The pear and pecan salad is amazing, the chicken piccata, and the bolognese so fresh! Try the cheesecake and the chocolate mouse cake, both delicious and the portion is very generous! The place is cozy and a must visit!"

"When we first came here, we were thrilled with the food. Tonight we came to our anniversary. gosh.... Let's talk about why you go to a restaurant: the food. I've never had such a good cheese pizza in my nearly 29 years. Do you know how much cheese pizza ive had? A LOT. The pizza was like a pizza in 3D. It had so much taste depth that... I can't even explain it. Cheese, sauce, dough... I still possess it. My husband had a New York Strip Steak that was cooked to medium-sized rare perfection, and he cleaned his plate, but... He liked my four cheese pizzas better. And he doesn't. Cheese, pizza. What's in the PIZZA?! Our waitress Leanne was personal, extremely efficient and really friendly! And at 8 a.m. on Friday the place was booked. But she stopped like crazy and... I mentioned she recommended the four cheese pizzas? Honestly, I was and am so euphoric today that I tried to smile at STOP so much because I thought people would think I was crazy. I never eat cheese pizza again. Note to the page: We never said it was our anniversary or something, but it was like we... and the staff went out of the way to make it special! No, they're just so great. Leanne also recommended the Tiramisu and the white wine cake. And they were both very good. I don't understand how everything here is so delicious! So basically... I'm going to a food skoma and don't regret anything. *Edit - it can look end up as I eat 20 meals in a visit, but I only add photos to this review every time I go!"
