"We went in with high hopes of a nice “Farm to Table” experience but we were very disappointed with much of the food. Complimentary focaccia and olive oil to start, as well as an amuse bouche with kimchi and veggies both were nice. For apps, we had creamy corn soup and a melon salad with crispy prosciutto. The soup wasn’t bad, but it was kind of dull just broth and corn, nothing else. I enjoyed the melon salad it had fresh arugula, red peppers, balsamic dressing and crispy prosciutto the flavors blended nicely. Entrées were a rib eye and eggplant parm. The steak was cooked nicely and was good; roasted potatoes were overcooked but still ok. The biggest problem was the eggplant parm. There were three pieces of eggplant, each cut about 1 1/2 inches thick, then breaded and deep fried. No sauce, just some melted mozzarella on top. I tried one bite and it was barely edible. Seeping in grease, the eggplant was barely cooked and was so tough I could barely chew it. I never send food back but I had to. And a patron seated nearby had a similar problem with the pork Milanese. Such a shame to have what could have been a decent meal ruined by such poor preparation. Our server was very nice, very attentive, and very professional. I felt bad for her."
