"The server was given my gift card prior to start of dining experience. He did not use it when tallying my bill. I paid without using the gift card, and had to ask the receptionist for the gift card returned. It just didn’t settle with me well. He did apologize sincerely to me"

"Okay at best.Got the risotto. Shrimp was cooked perfect. Lobster tail was overcooked. Scallops were seared nice but slightly undercooked. And the rice.. it was not risotto . It was more like eating rice boiled in shrimp water. I would not recommend ordering it. The Spinach dip was good, but I wouldn 't eat here again."

"We LOVED Ashland Hill! It made us wish we lived in Santa Monica so we could visit more often! They have an incredible happy hour menu! We had their house beer and it was amazing! They are also super dog friendly, which was really nice. Not only were our dogs allowed on the patio we felt welcomed with them! Our dogs were even given dog biscuits, that looked homemade! The staff were all incredibly nice and the outdoor patio was like a little oasis. Really cool place! Definitely stop in for a bite and a drink!"
