"First time there and absolutely horrible experience! It?s 35 degrees outside they have the air conditioner blasting! Ordered spring rolls they were mushy and not cooked long enough. Ordered steak chicken and shrimp hibachi. We sat at a regular table.and when they brought the food I literally had to pick all the vegetables out because they were over cooked so bad they were mush! They made new vegetables but now my rice and meat is ice cold due to it freezing inside. My fiancé had lobster and filet mignon and that definitely wasn?t filet mignon.. complained to the manager Zach who felt that a $10 discount would be suffice on a $115.00 bill of food that stayed on the table! Definitely was ripped off by Zach."

"I typically do not leave reviews unless the experience is exceptionally good or bad. In this instance, I would strongly discourage people from ordering the egg foo young and kung pao shrimp from this restaurant. This was my first time ordering from here, so it may have just been a bad day, but I was disappointed to find only 7-8 shrimp on the plate, which was frustrating. The egg foo young was extremely overcooked, lacking in flavor, and overly fried. As someone who enjoys Americanized Chinese cuisine, I have tried egg foo young from several restaurants in Madison, and this was by far the worst. The staff was friendly, but I am hesitant to visit this restaurant again in the future."

"I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. My friends and I stopped by on our way and tried their appetizers and fried dumplings. The chicken dish was one of the best I've ever had - it was fresh, hot, and juicy. The noodles with sauce were also delicious. The aroma of the food was so enticing that we ended up eating in the parking lot! We only intended to have a quick bite of appetizers and didn't try their main dishes, but we definitely will next time. The location and environment were great. The only issue was locating their parking lot, as we had to search around for it due to traffic and a narrow road. It would be helpful if they had a sign outside to direct customers to the parking area."

"Ordered a bento box with Salmon and Beef teriyaki and salmon sashimi, along with a volcano roll. The salmon was pretty moist and refreshing, but the beef teriyaki was really chewy. The salad had way too much dressing. The volcano roll tasted pretty high quality and all the ingredients worked well together."

"This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious seafood and quick service. The staff is welcoming and helpful. I have been here more than 30 times, but I have always ordered takeout. Be prepared for a wait of around 15 minutes. I highly recommend this spot and hope you love it as much as I do!"

"Sushi is good and consistent. They have changed over the last few years. Servings have gone down in size and up in price. I'm aware that most places have adjusted their prices but Sushi King used to be a better deal than other sushi places. Now it's the same price but not as good in quality than other options. They also used to have staff that was friendly and would take custom orders. No more custom orders. Staff is nice but not as professional as it used to be. This was my regular spot for over a decade. I still go once in a while but I have changed to a different spot with better quality for the same prices."

"I do not leave many negative reviews. but this time, I'm taking a break. I called at 8:10 to command you. they do not answer. I'm passing because it's 5 minutes away. there are more employees there than customers, and they go to me and ignore me otherwise. I'm confused, why with 4 employees standing around, that nobody is able to answer the phone. Finally, the bartender makes his way forward and tells me that they are closed, and at 8:30. I see my watch. it's clear I was there at 8:20. Online shows are open until 9:30. but it is a simple order. these youngs are clearly checked. another nearby Asian restaurant called and my meal picked up at 8:35. I will now leave a positive assessment there. I guess they won't be long. it's a shame that I liked the sushi, but won't be back."

"The sushi is never a problem, really yummy! The appetizers on the other hand were not too great. We ordered some for delivery, the chicken nuggets and springrolls. Both are super tiny portions for that price. Then, I am not sure if they absorbed the taste from the takeout container or if it is how they make it, but both tasted like cardboard, almost like dishwasher soap. "I’m so pleased that there are such great places to eat lunch in the middle of west Roxbury center. This gem of a restaurant was not packed at lunch time, they offer a nice lunch menu that includes and appetizer, an entree and a drink. Apart from being quite affordable the food was delightful. The shrimp rolls where fresh and hardy with all those crunchy vegetables, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The Basil rice was so colorful and jam packed with flavor. There was so much shrimp and the portion was so big I took some home to eat later. Ithey also have Thai iced tea!!!! I recommend this place for anyone stopping by in West Roxbury, I know the locals love this place and come visit plenty. The place does not offer delivery until 4pm, and on weekdays they close from 3 to 6pm."

"I did not have a good experience with the service at this restaurant. We waited 10 minutes just to place our order, and then waited another 10 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. However, the sushi appetizer never came. It took another 10 minutes for our entrees to come out, with my girlfriend waiting an additional 10 minutes for her sushi entree. Even after that, the sushi appetizer came late. While we waited, we saw other customers receive their food promptly, which made us wonder if they had ordered ahead. The only positive aspect of our visit was that the food was excellent, which is why I am giving this restaurant 2 stars. I would recommend ordering ahead rather than dining in here."
