"When I arrived for lunch, I was told that I should have made a reservation two weeks ago. But they could seat me on the terrasse, where no reservations were required. It was a balmy September day, so I sat on the terrasse. The other...server arrived and, seeing the second menu, asked if I was going to be joined. I said yes. She then asked me if I wanted to order! I told her that I would wait for my friend to arrive...This initial welcome put me off, but, whatever. On the terrasse, we are seated across the street from an IGA food store, which decided to turn on its ventilators. For about 15 minutes, it was like sitting on a tarmac, with a plane ready to take off. Not good. And the food. Well, I had the gravlax with cold fresh pea soup. It was average. Very difficult to eat, as it was served in a bowl but with long mint tendrils and leaves, which could not be cut (because of bowl). Overwhelmingly minty, too. Plus a glass of wine and a chocolate cake dessert, lunch was $44. Expensive. I will not go back. Too much attitude and not enough substance"
