"What an outstanding experience! Promptly welcomed into the restaurant and seated as soon as I entered. My chef Justin was awesome, he makes this appetizer salad that is just off the chain! Delicious! My server (i didnt get her name) was incredible, very attentive to me and kicking butt the whole time running between tables around the restaurant. "Amazing food all around amazing I've been coming here for over a decade The owner is the Sushi Chef and he buys the best quality fish available and has his special touches on everything. Sounds so simple but the best thing on the menu is their spicy tuna. Must go You won't regret it and for non-sushi lovers they have great other options too."

"This is a great restaurant. I recommend it highly. The sushi is very fresh and the presentations are unique. Our waiter was very helpful and passionate in explaining the various menu options and the flavors of the many different sakis. Plus the bill was cheaper than what we pay at home. A must-do if you are a sushi fan visiting Coronado."

"Food and service has been poor to mediocre for the past few visits. This time, the cucumber wraps were not only gritty and totally nasty, but it made one of us sick for 3 days! Horrible! Service has gone downhill quickly and when we initially walked in, we got the feeling we were an inconvenience that showed up and expected to be served. Mind you, it was more than an hour and a half before closing time."

Used to love this restaurant but over the last few years it has taken a horrendous turn for the worst. The lack of responsibility for including shellfish in items that aren't advertised as having shellfish is mind boggling. Will be taking money elsewhere"

"I came through on a Saturday night around 11 PM to check out their new and improved second floor. It had been closed for the majority of the pandemic so I was curious to see what it looked like. The second floor is now one continuous space rather than a couple of themed rooms like it was in The Before Time before covid. I'm a fan of the continuous look but I'm sure that there'll be those that miss having different musical options to groove to. Speaking of people, where were they? The place was desolate on a Saturday night. The DJ was doing a good job on the boards...but if good music is played and no one's there to hear it, does it exist? Be advised that they do charge a cover now for the aforementioned DJ of $10 as of this writing. It wasn't worth it in my view."
