"Great place. First time, but it won't be our last. We were seated upon arrival. We really enjoyed the food and the service was top notch. Stan made us feel like VIPs with his smooth and timely pours (delicious) and attention to detail. Besides our laughter and catching up, the place was quiet and relaxing on the weekday we went. "This was our first time here as we were celebrating our 15 year anniversary with friends. We were looking forward to the Mussels but very disappointed with many of them having a fishy flavor. The flavor of the broth was good but the mussels themselves were not plump but almost looked like they were re-hydrated and reattached to the shells. The Chef 's special crab stuffed Swordfish was dry with a fishy flavor. Fish was not prepped/cleaned well either. The short ribs with risotto just as disappointing. The meat was pre-sliced and looked like the brisket flat and risotto was mushy with the consistency of rice pudding. Chef eventually came out, there were only 2 seated tables in the dinning room, but never came to table and appear to stare down the person at our table that sent back the fish....only person without a plate of food in front of them. The waiter did take the swordfish off the bill and he was absolutely the best part of the experience. Thank you Dustin!"

"I've been to many wine chats and the pairings of food were wonderful. However, the food is very skimpy and not very good compared to how it used to be. It seemed a little understaffed with our normally attentive and cheerful Delores a bit frazzled due to this. I'm afraid all the above skimping on the food, quality of food, and being understaffed might be a trend that hurts this business unfortunately."

"I need to learn to take previous reviews seriously . Such a disappointment ! We waited 10 minutes before a waitstaff to greet us at our table. Took another 10 minutes to get our drink order. The menu was a prefix for Easter fine , waiter took all three of our sections to help with their timing . 10 minutes to get our starters OK no problem, another 35 minutes to get our entrees. Awful ! No flavor, missing items on our apps, over cooked eggs sent back got over cooked back again ! Desserts microwaved just like my husbands potatoes and my risotto and over cooked The waiter was nice enough to remove one of the entrees.. Another HUGE issue . 1 bathroom 1 out of order) unisex for patrons staff on a busy Holiday ... Makes me wonder about the food safety in the kitchen"

"Expanding our horizons, we booked a table with no idea what we'd be getting except for the positive reviews we saw on Open Table. Great date night! Our server was attentive and informed. Helped us with wine selections and his directions were a hit. It's no Micheline 5 star menu but the cheese and meat tray was tasty and the personal pizzas hit the spot. Wine selections go beyond the menu so don't forget to ask for the wine list. Also, we got a discount from menu price on wine we bought to go. There are lots of places we've yet to try but we'll be back!"

"It was great to see CRU open back up again for business. Sat outside on the patio, very comfortable. I had the Big Red flight that was awesome. Split a cheese flight with my wife , always a great choice for a light dinner. Terrific wine selection, good food and great people watching!"
