"Came to dance to salsa/latin music for my birthday. They play great salsa 10-11-ish, but no one was dancing yet. Then it switched to mostly latin pop and other pop/dance music. They included a few more merengues, but it's definitely not a salsa dancing venue that attracts salsa dancers. Was more hopeful they would still have a live salsa band, but they said people prefer DJs. If they could improve the quality of their interior, have shows and great cuban food, it would be more what I'm looking for, but Dallas does not have a great salsa scene. Therefore, it was good enough for what we wanted to do. We had fun! They also changed it so we were up in the VIP section for our 10pm reservation, which was great until they asked us to leave before 12. They were nice about letting us stay since we didn't intend to stay too late, but we would have just kept our tables on the floor if we had known we would be kicked out at a certain time. (we did not eat there)"
