"My first time eating at Cafe Nouvo for lunch. My beet salad with creamy peppercorn dressing and frisee salad was amazing, fully recommend it as a starter. the salmon with the chipotle crema and vegetables was so addicting and portion size was very filling. Overall the experience was wonderful. My bartender was engaging in our conversation and my ice tea was refreshing. As a pastry chef and someone that dines at fancy restaurant in Boston/ Montreal and NYC, yes I’m foodie and love to travel. I got say this is gem in providence, I’m disappointed in myself that all time growing up. I walked by this restaurant and never walked in especially when it has great view of city, patio seating and front stage to water Fire . It’s great restaurant for lunch or dinner"

"Went there last Sept and it was wonderful and so was the service. Went there this weekend for birthday and service was very very poor ! They never took away the glass and dishes that were not going to be used. Had to ask for everything . To beat the Band, a the price for a Crabcake with lump crabmeat was 80.00 !!! Unheard of , I could drive to Maryland and pay 80 for Fuel. Maybe the crabcake has Diamonds in it ?? We got put in the front dining area as you walk straight in. We were ignored between courses . Very disappointed and we will not go back. It ruined our birthday celebration ."

"I got really sick from the food I was served at this restaurant. I ordered the Bagel and Lox for brunch and it had a strange color around the edges, which I ended up cutting off. I should have realized it wasn't fresh and was spoiled. My mother-in-law also mentioned that the pancakes were not good. It seems like this place is only good for pub food. Lesson learned."

"My love affair with Gordon's birthday started in November 2016. A friend and I invited a large group of our people we knew and had an explosion there. I was impressed by food, but also the fact that it wasn't any average chicken shake! After that, I had the opportunity to order a WHOLE HOT CHICKEN for Thanksgiving. Wow, that was good. Since then, Gordons has been the right place to visit regularly. Great for meetings (free Wi-Fi is alway a plus) or just kick with your guys and watch the game. I highly recommend this point. A great representative of the New Nashville."

"The food has always been good quality and very creative. Disappointed that they removed my favorite salmon from the menu. But the tapas petit filet was delicious. Hubby always liked the Wagyu sliders and the Caesar salad is very good. If they are busy it can get very noisy! Service always very attentive."

"I came here for a bridal shower 2 weeks ago , I was pleased with my meal , and it was very pretty . The party was held in a back room over looking the lake. It was very lovely... the only reason i didn't give 5 stars is the lack of available parking. The lot was very small and tight , and I ended up getting a ticket on the street. Better parking solutions would have guaranteed a 5 from me."

"I actually am sick to my stomach from what I was served. I ordered bagel and lox on their brunch. It was oddly colored around the edges, which I cut off. I should have been told that they don’t serve it often and it was spoiled. My mother in law said the pancakes were inedible. I guess this is a pub just for pub food. Lesson learned."

"Zolos food is always very good. The service is a little dirty in the years, but the last two times we were there has shown a great improvement. Last night was Chicken Piccata and Shrimp and Scallops Carbonara. Both were very good with the Carbonara especially rich and tasteful. Our server was Reagan (I'm sorry if I have the spelling wrong). She was fast and personal without vibrating over us. Prices are quite reasonable if you look at recent increases everywhere due to inflation. Either our entrees could have been split between us and we could have felt well fed. In previous visits we did exactly that and were happy with the crowd, especially because we are not fans of Doggy bags. It is a good way to manage our calories and spring for an additional glass of wine. Zolo’s is back on our regular rotation of major restaurants around the city."
