"I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Sondra Santos Drahos here for coffee and my very first acai bowl. Just to set the record straight: I can be quite particular about my cold brew—I prefer it black and bitter (much like my spirit?). This café did not disappoint! The service was fantastic, mostly provided by young staff who were exceedingly polite and helpful. The enormous acai bowl was absolutely delicious! I particularly enjoyed the blend of coconut and cashews. Since it was my first bowl, I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I left feeling very satisfied. Plus, I couldn’t resist taking some funny pictures of the cool painted map of La Jolla they had in the bathroom. This spot has a lot of charm. I'll definitely be back!"
