"I highly recommend getting several cups of the Special Garlic Dipping Sauce and using it to dip everything, especially when reheating your pizza leftovers the next day; it adds an extra layer of deliciousness. My boyfriend decided to try the new Extra Large NY Style Crust Create Your Own Pizza and topped it with sausage and pepperoni, opting for light sauce. He enjoyed it but mentioned that the individual NY-style slices he had at local events were superior to the whole pizza, lacking the same greasy, cheesy goodness found in a single slice.
My favorite order was the Large Epic Stuffed Crust Create Your Own Pizza, which I topped with Parmesan Romano, pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms. For my Pick Your Faves Deal, I got 10-inch cheese sticks with a complimentary side of pizza dipping sauce and 6 unsauced wings with another complimentary side of ranch.
Overall, the staff was friendly and efficient. The food was enjoyable and may even taste better the next day. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is that it isn't the absolute best pizza I've had—not that Papa John's could necessarily improve; it's just a matter of personal taste. I prefer more adventurous toppings like figs, jams, apples, and prosciutto, which tend to earn higher ratings."
