"Used to come to this place weekly when they were all you could eat for a set price. This was eliminated during COVID. Went back recently and saw that they had a new deal on the front of the menu that stated any 3 rolls for $24.95 . Me and my daughter ordered three rolls each. When the check came we were charged for each roll individually. When I questioned why this deal was not applied we were told that we didn 't tell her that we were ordering three rolls each. She made no attempt to rectify the mistake and laughed at me. I paid the full price bill and will never return. I don 't appreciate being ripped off and lied to. This business really should have some integrity and stand by its advertised promotions."

"1st time here, probably the last. #1. $23.99 for Steak n Shrimp with Rice is excessive. #2. The portions were sad at best. 11 small bite size pieces of steak, 9 shrimp (large shrimp) and a bowl full of rice. For the price there should have been waymore. You can pile all the vegetables you want on there. But the meat portions are sad for the price. #3. Waited over 30 minutesfor food to come out. Considering how much was served, and they weren't that busy. We could see our frustration on others facesas well. So it wasn't just us. The food tasted great but the wait, cost, and portion makes this a hard pass. Service wasadequate, but not stellar. My reviews are usually pretty generous, this one is not. You only get 1 chance to make a 1stimpression. $52 for 2 people, no appetizer, and 2 tea's is just ridiculous. Good luck, you're gonna need it."

"The Maru Sushi Grill is an upscale restaurant. I would recommend reservations on weekends. The atmosphere and the ambience did not make a romantic dinner sad. My date and I were also disappointed at our hostesses disposition, it was that of a teenage wood if you want. She expressed this after our lack of reservations was given. The food was exceptional, our waitress was exceptional. Despite the loud fun of walking around us, we had a good conversation mostly to mock the fact that the table our waitress guarenteed was reserved next to us that we asked to actually sit at was empty throughout the meal. I will return to Maru Sushi Grill and give you the opportunity to follow the suit. Treat those of us in a way you would receive in return open from them. Live your dream."

"I ordered dumplings and their kickkatsu curry. The curry was so crazy good and the dumplings were definitely made by hand and love. I would give the restaurant a suggestion, maybe a way to add the curry in the same place as the chicken catsu, but they give you a really good portion. So it's not like the biggest thing that id say. I will definitely get food from them again. Keep the big work"

"Ordered for pick up tonight and the food was delicious! we ordered D2 and D4, plus a California roll and Johnstown roll. My beef was well done, like I ordered and the fried rice and veggies were perfect. The man of the house enjoyed his chicken and shrimp teriyaki with fried rice and veggies. He said both sushi rolls were delicious. The wait time was a bit longer than usual but it is a 1 man shop right now. People have been hired but they don't stick around. patience is a virtue and supporting local matters!"

"Great food. Like 5 stars but the lady who works taking order is the rudest person in customer service I've ever met in my life. Attitude is disgusting and has stopped me from coming. The last few times I came I ordered several shrimp tempuras to go along with Kani salad, totaling a good amount. She did not pack not one spicy mayo like I requested and when I came back in and asked for it she had the most disgusting attitude and response. She said she will only give me one or she has to charge me, even tho I ordered several orders. She then proceeded to squirt a dime size in a container and shook it around the container to seem like more. Literally in front of my face. They should fire her, she is the reason no one (at least none of the people I know) go anymore. FIX IT!!!"

"Delicious sushi!! Definitely better than what I had at nyokos. It's a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but cute, clean, good food, friendly staff. Will have to go and try more menu items, but what I had (side of noodles and black dragon roll, plus sweet potatoe roll) was delicious. The black dragon roll (eel plus avocado on top of sushi with shrimp tempura plus eel sauce and spicy mustard sauce, as best I can remember to describe it) was delicious!!"
