"So the family and I went for dinner and it was delicious we had , calamari ,clam chowder , calzone and a pizza ... Let me tell you if you like calzones like I do it's top tier in taste it comes with dipping sauce that was fire .. they made a mistake with the pizza but it wasn't a big deal they just added pineapple but I was my fault I told them pineapple at first but then the kids just wanted pepperoni it was delicious and they even gave us a free dessert. You won't regret eating here!!!!"

"Stopped by on a Monday night while in town for a conference. I like going to dive bars when I travel. This is that! I was disappointed that the menu is much more limited than what is published here and on Facebook. I had the Mama’s Chicken sandwich…it was perfectly serviceable for bar food. The fries were good and hot. The bartenders were very friendly, and apparently make various custom drinks based on people’s likes. Prices are fair. Clearly popular with the locals. Lots of TVs for sports."

"Last Saturday we brought an awesome autism party of over 25 guests to New York Pizza Dept in Avondale. The staff communicated with me throughout the preceding two weeks to make sure everything was ready. On the day of our party, we called to say we were on our way. They pushed tables together and got a space ready for us. They prepared about fifteen cheese and pepperoni pizza pies for us that were delicious, plentiful and hot out of the oven when we arrived. The staff was highly attentive and made sure none of our guests wanted for anything. If we finished our drinks, the glasses were refilled before we even saw them walk by. They wanted to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and WE DID! Two thumbs up for New York Pizza Dept. in Avondale and their awesome, attentive staff. We WILL be back!"

"Service was great! Quick seating and quick service! Friendly and checked up on. The decòr is cool too. I like that it's open floor because it makes you feel not so crowded. Wall Street pizza- great crust, great toppings and just a good pizza. I will say that I wish they used a little more sauce on the dough to get a little extra flavor. Had a side of marinara and it is actually delicious just don't taste it much on the pizza! Wings- standard pizza joint wings. Good sauce and cooked well. Surprised by the pricing and the service, everything was spot on"
