"This is possibly the worst Indo Chinese food I have ever had in the US. The Manchow Soup, whether vegetarian or chicken, is basically just a soup of red chilies that is extremely hot and spicy with no vegetables or noodles. Eating this soup will almost certainly give anyone diarrhea. The Golden Chili Baby Corn is also disappointing, as it is only made with red chili paste and the baby corn is very hard, lacking in flavor and tasting only like chili. I ordered Chicken Noodles or Schezwan, but received fried rice that was excessively spicy with only chili flakes and chicken that tasted old and stale. I feel like my $50 was completely wasted. Despite its high ratings, this restaurant serves the worst Indo Chinese food. I will never order from here again and will not be returning. They are simply taking advantage of people with their poor quality and truly unhealthy food."

"I had a great experience at this Indian restaurant. They offer cloth napkins and tablecloths, and the service is excellent without being intrusive. The atmosphere is peaceful and calming. When we mentioned that we were new to Indian food and had different preferences (my date likes mild dishes, while I prefer spicy), the staff were very accommodating and suggested dishes that suited our tastes. The prices are reasonable, and we left with leftovers. The location is a bit hidden in a strip mall along Army Trail Rd, but it's definitely worth the effort to find. We will definitely be coming back."

"Love this place. Food is excellent and everyone is so nice and attentive. The space is very well done and the outdoor seating when weather permits is fab."

"Cholanad is the best kept secret in Chapel Hill. The food is outstanding, service is wonderful, the ambiance is diverse. I have been here with a large group of friends and sat outside, on a first date in a quiet corner, at the bar to watch a game, and with my family of multiple generations. This is my favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill, mostly because of the food. And dedicated parking!"

"Mohit and his entire staff are absolutely amazing to work with. Recently they catered many events for us and from start to finish it was the most outstanding experience. From live food stations, to authentic dishes from different parts of India, to sweets and mithai curated for our event, Mohit and his team did it all. I am so amazed by the production, presentation and delicious cuisine. Thank you so much Mohit and Punjab Indian Cuisine!"

"the NE part of denver has not yet seen fully vegan or vegetarian restaurants and starved for places with vegan or vegetarian options. coriander is about everything you can find, but for the happiness it is a clean and attractive space with delicious Indian foods that includes several vegan options. To date, I had only the chana masala (a pea bowl with a rich spicy tomato sauce) with rice and a garlic calantro frog (this very large flatbread was perfectly chewing and slightly browned). her simple roti is also vegan like several other sweet and lentil dishes. I look forward to going back! it is suitable for a date night or just a quick lunch break."

"Fantastic food and fantastic service! I had my birthday dinner there with 15 people and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The food was absolutely amazing. And they excellently managed to serve this big group (we had people joining us late and it was no problem). Without hesitation they let us split the bill the way we wanted to. And they offered me a fantastic desert for free! 10/10!!"

"This restaurant is about eating to live. The food is nowhere near gourmet. Rather, it is standard staples of Indian cooking prefabricated and served for lunch, anyway on a buffet line. I adore Indian cuisine, but this food was not worth the calories in terms of taste, freshness, or anything else"

"The majestic chicken, mysore bonda with 2 different Chutneys were delicious and yumm. I can order them again when I'm here. Cut mechi, Lamb biriyani were also good. Mango Lassi was moderately sweet in contrast to other Indian restaurants that give you diabetes in a sip. The waiters can be friendly, wear a smile. The place was busy in a weekend, but the service was fast. I'd say one of the best Indian restaurants in Austin MSA."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations in terms of service and ambience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality by Sidhu who’s working at front desk. The service at this restaurant was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were prompt in taking my order, and the food was served in a timely manner. Throughout the meal, the waitstaff checked in on me regularly, making sure that I had everything I needed and that my dining experience was going smoothly. The attention to detail in both the service and ambience of this restaurant truly made a difference in my dining experience. It was evident that the staff took pride in their work and genuinely cared about providing a memorable experience for their guests. In terms of the food, it was absolutely delicious. The menu offered a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients used were fresh and of high quality, resulting in a truly satisfying."

"This restaurant just never disappoints you. We stopped here today for their lunch special. The Veggie masala was fantastic, and the Naan was hot and ready to eat. We were hungry and enjoyed all the special lunch extras like the soup. I'm recovering after a bad cold, and the soup was exactly what I needed! Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options here!"

"my waiter gave me the confidence to try several new dishes. so I tried to feed the vegetable pakora. I decided to try the mushroom bhoona and ordered my favorite saag when the escape. I love my saag level. I was in restaurants that insist that my saag contains at least one of the usual ingredients: paneer, aloo and sometimes chana, which I then painfully get out of my saag. one of my raw food cookers, originally from india, had a bio restaurant. she told me why they committed me to trembling my saag. if that happens, I'll go up and never leave the restaurant back. but in this restaurant my waiter had no problem to submit my request at the place. the vegetable pakora first arrived. I really liked it. but there were the tamarind sauce and green chili chutney that the pakora really made excellent. when my man came to a call to eat his pakora, it was cold (he hates cold food.) but my man liked this cold pakora so much, he always tried to ask me about it while he breeds them at once down he usually eats it and asks for a question. After the pakora was completed, however, he immediately announced to order the pakora again at our next visit. the mushroom bhoona and the saag came together. both my man and I were very impressed by these exotic aromes. when the rice arrived that was taken up with the bhoona, we had most bhoona and saag eaten. my man is a rice fan, so he can just sit and eat rice himself if necessary. I usually do not eat white basmati rice. wild rice, brown or black rice. but when they brought out these basmati, I had to try. it had interesting spots of seasoning in it. after a bite I sat and ate the half of the plate with the rest of my saag. I mentioned my waiter how much I liked the basmati. he explained all the preparations that go into making this special dish. it was quite impressive and he seemed very pleased to hear that I liked it so much. I hope he shared my compliment with the kitchen. I liked the way our waiter observed our food needs again and again when he came past our table. I noticed he didn't want to interrupt our dinner. but I knew if I looked at him, he would have come directly to our table if we needed something. that is the sign of a sophisticated waiter for me. a trait that I rarely see more in restaurant waitstaff. at the end of our meal our waiter offered us a free sample of the gulab jamun desserts. After he described this, I know I didn't order it alone. but we still tried. my man just yelled at me when I tasted this overly sweet dessert. he had observed my expression when I tasted him and offered me the other half of his rehearsal. it didn't come surprised when I told him that the next time we came, I'd order the gulab jamun dessert. I asked him how he knew I liked it. apparently it was the ankle in my eyes when I took my first bite that there was gone. so, now it is obvious that we already planned our return to this restaurant on our next trip to fresno. not only eating is very nice, but our waiter has made me feel that I will not forget. so it's easy to forgive the little girl that went into mine when I first sat and my man was outside on a call. they rode on an unusually large cracker that was in her hand and from a strange background she jumped in and sat on the stand for several minutes. it seemed completely unlikely for the difference between a customer and an extended family. it was so strange, it was almost cute. but that immediately tells me that this flawless crew is family owned. but what is really etched in my mind, in the last moments of this culinary experience, was the hectic attempt of the owner. our waiter was not far behind the owner who ran into our car with my mobile phone charger base. it had fallen out of my handbag in our stand. I am so grateful to this gracious owner and my waiter that he gave it back to me before we get away. I would never have been able to complete my work projects, emails and text messages without my cell charger base. the demanding waiter skills of our waiter, combined with my saag accommodation and the desperate attempt by the owner to return my cell charger base, shows me that it is not by chance that this restaurant serves such fine quality meals. this is the first time that my man and I plan our next visit in a restaurant on the APPETIZER course! So, for a high quality north indian restaurant with excellent eating and excellent service, I recommend you to make their first stop in tandoori night!"

"3 years ago, I gave this place 3 stars. Over the last year or two, I have heard about how great this place is, and I was so confused. When it opened, it wasn't great. I went twice and didn't go back. I was honestly surprised it stayed open! But a lot has changed in 3 years. Our usual Indian spot was closed, so I called Tandoor and ordered our own little buffet. Totally worth it. All together, this was about $70. Will feed 2 people for 3+ days haha. Everything was delicious! Yes, it would probably have been even better to dine in, but takeaway was our plan. The appetizer was the mixed platter. I like these type of options! They're great for indecisive appetizer people like me. My favorite was of course the vegetable pakora. It always is We got both plain and garlic naan. It was probably much more crisp in the restaurant, but it still tasted delicious. For meats, we had Keema Matar and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were very very good. The Keema Matar might be better than I've had at my normal joint! For veg, we had vegetable curry and saag paneer. If anything was not as good as the rest, it was the vegetable curry, but that does not mean it wasn't good! We do still have like 4 good meals left, so it ended up being just over $10/meal. These days, you can't get much better than that. And you definitely cannot for this deliciousness. Go get you some Tandoor!"

"I was blown away that they have a lunch buffet with clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options! Even the salad bar had vegan and vegetarian signs including their salad dressings and sauces! I LOVE Indian food! Generally buffets aren’t as good as ordering and this buffet wasn’t an exception but I had to try it because of the clearly marked signs. The buffet was only $12 which is pretty cheap for Indian food. I’ve ordered off their menu before and if you know what you want I would recommend this over their lunch buffet. Their website has their menu so give that a look."

"First time here. We were greeted immediately and seated in a booth. There was a TV on the far wall that was playing what I guess were Indian hit videos. There is an extensive menu that includes a veg or non veg Thali platter, which is not something I see at most Indian restaurants here. We opted for the Dal Tadka, Aloo Matar, garlic Naan, Masala Chai and a Mango Lassi. The chai can be ordered sweet with milk or without sweetener and milk, as you like. It was excellent without either. The Mango lassi was a little sweet for our taste but they usually are it was still really good. But the star of the evening was the food. The Aloo Matar was a platter full of peas with some potato accompaniment, all really tasty. The peas were very firm but not undercooked so we wondered if maybe they use fresh peas and we're just not used to the texture. The Dal was fantastic, especially with the garlic naan. We wanted to try their rice pudding but had eaten ourself full so there was no room. We'll be certain to leave some room for dessert the next time we're here!"
