"The food was fantastic. However, it was much noisier than I had expected. From the website and the decor, I expected it to be a quiet, peaceful, kind of meditative place. Boy was I wrong! The bar was hopping! The band, although very good, was very loud! And the restaurant itself was super loud. I took my husband there for his birthday. I was expecting a high class romantic restaurant. But we couldn't even hear each other speak, so he moved across the table to sit next to me instead of across from me. For that reason, I think it's a great restaurant for a big party or casual evening with friends. But it was not the ideal place for a romantic, birthday dinner. Great food and drinks though! And the view of the Marina is very nice. Also, although I had mentioned my husbands birthday when I made the reservation online, the waitress did not acknowledge his birthday in any way. Maybe she didn't get the message. That was fine. But I was surprised by that. Like I said fantastic food! It's just good to know what you're getting into in terms of the environment and noise level."
