"I made a reservation for 7 for 12:30pm on Father’s Day. We have an autistic child who unfortunately was having a meltdown when we needed to leave. My parents, who are almost 80, got there on time and I told them to explain what was going on and to go ahead and sit to get some drinks and appetizers. They let me know the restaurant refused to seat them until all of us were present. I figured they must be really busy and didn’t want to make other people wait or didn’t want to mess up the kitchen flow. Having worked in restaurants before, I understand the need for that policy. However, once we got there around 1:15pm, we saw the restaurant was over half empty and no one was waiting for a table. Staff was standing around, and my almost 80 year old parents were sitting on a short wall in the shade to stay cool. I was appalled that the restaurant manager seemed either unable to determine if she should adjust restaurant policies or was simply lacking empathy and did not care. I checked in and said we were the party of 7 with the 1230 reservation where my parents arrived on time and you wouldn’t seat them. She simply curtly replied, “Yes” and didn’t even look at me. If my parents and my autistic child could have waited to eat and get some water I would have left right then. I am glad we stayed because the food was good and the waitress and staff were wonderful. The view was great and we loved the aesthetic. We spent a large amount of money and tipped the waitress over the mandatory gratuity for parties of 6+. But I seriously question the judgment of a manager that will not allow 2 almost 80 year olds to sit at a table and get food and water when it’s over 80 degrees and they have the space and staff to handle a table that does not follow the typical order timing. The fact she was informed of why we were late and she showed no understanding or concern also leads me to think this coldness and rigidity is not out of the norm. We will not be returning."

"We had a great experience with our waiter who provided excellent service without rushing us. Although the food was good overall, our only issue was that the medium steak we ordered was seared on the outside and undercooked in the middle. However, the staff promptly addressed the issue and even comped our dessert, which was a delicious s'mores tart."

"this place is excellent. it belongs to the sohn of luciano, which has a much larger near Italian restaurant. I often go! both are very good, but café assisi is excellent. I would set the quality of the courts against everything in the north end! only on the bottom it is small and in a small strip mall and it starts getting quite popular. therefore there can be a waiting time especially at peak times!"

"If you're a delivery driver AVOID picking up here like it's a plague, accepted a 22 minute order for 10 dollars, 25 minutes of waiting and still no food...there were 6 people none of em eating incompetent management learn how to setup an iPad this was on top of the 38 minutes I stood there the last time I picked up 2 cheese pizzas....1 restaurant 1 successful order picked up over an hr of waiting...if you're looking to actually make money delivering food this isn't the place to do it"

"The food, except for the one truly awful meal I had once, is mediocre at best. For the prices they charge, that makes it doubly sad. Let me start with my awful meal. The very pleasant server recommended the special that day (late lunch time . It was supposed to be like a hot roast beef. Roast beef on top of bread with gravy. Mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The beef was dry and topped with a flavorless, watery gravy. The mashed potatoes were like instant that they couldn 't get right. Just grainy and watery. Like they simply put water on the instant, but didn 't really cook it. Also flavorless. The vegetables tasted straight out of the can. Flavorless, watery and not even warm. Everything on my plate was as flavorless as water...that seemed the theme. One of the worst meals I 've ever had!The two other times I have eaten there, I ordered steak, one of my favorite foods on the planet. Wow! To pass off what amounts to a thin and mediocre sandwich steak as a dinner steak and charge those prices? I have a hard time believing some of these rave reviews. I did like the what was supposed to be a wedge salad, but they never seem to have it, so we 'd get a chopped version instead (phew, long sentence! . It has bacon and blue cheese and is a fairly decent size...until you pick out the brown lettuce. It 's not an inexpensive menu item...maybe it should be. I always order from soup to nuts when I go out. I also tip well, so my three experiences have not been cheap ones and I got to try a lot of what this restaurant offers. You know what happens after three strikes?!The staff, the times I 've been there, have been friendly. Based on their recommendations, I have to wonder if they really eat the food, or just need to push certain items. Clean and ok decor. I 'll be saving my money next time though. Use it for gas money to go eat steak in another town."

"Friday night and the joint was jumping. They had a band that started a half hour late. But they were really good. I enjoyed, which is more then I can say for their food. Started with a sangria to drink. Awful. Couldn't drink it. Apparently they put gin in it. Alot.We had spinach artichoke dip that didn't have artichoke in it and about a tablespoon of spinach covered with way to much cheese, making it hard to eat. Then we has wings chicken philli cheese hoagie, meatball hoagie, and pizza. Hoagies were tasteless, wings soggy and we asked for extra crispy. Pizza was average. Very disappointed"

"We visited the Glow Halloween Special and were disappointed to find that they do not honor reservations for special events, despite having made one. Upon arrival, we were informed of this and ended up waiting over an hour with our two young grandchildren, alongside many other customers, for a table. Meanwhile, we could see four empty tables in front of us the whole time. To make matters worse, once the dining room started to clear out, they still didn't seat anyone else. We arrived at 6:00 PM, only to see that they began seating people on the outer deck instead. I don't plan to return. They offered us travel tickets as compensation, but then that event was also canceled, rendering the tickets unusable. Overall, it was a very poorly managed experience. "

"My wife had the white clam chowder and claimed it was top 5 ever. We then had some firecracker wontons and the flavor was over the top great. We followed up with chicken parm which was very hot, very saucy, and very flavorful. My wife had fettuccine and vodka sauce and claimed it was very good also. Our server Patty was very personable, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend this gem. On a scale from 1-10 I would rate this 9.4."
