"This place is demolished. I went here to 1/1/2023 to get some Bacardi for my Coquito. There was a sticker on the 375ml bottle of Bacardi Silver Rum that said $9.99 (which are likely to be removed immediately so they can continue to charge their customers). I asked for a 375ml bottle of Bacardi gold and was charged $11.99. When I asked the man behind the counter why it was so much, he told me that the price for this size is, I have the price sticker on the other bottle of the same size and he shrug and claims, "it is not the same"... No other store I have been EVER, a difference in price between the silver and gold bottles, seasoned rums maybe, do not put the basic bottles. I'm pretty sure he just made the price on site. If you want to buy basic spirits, go a few blocks over the place on Delancey Pitt, the place is hood, but the prices are marked and fair. If you need wine, there is a very nice family property on Essex directly opposite the Seward Park, which has a large selection of wine and spirits. I will never put foot in East Village Wine Liquor again and I would not suggest you, readers, do that."
