"Firkin's menu is interesting and reasonably priced. But, this is a bar with food and the focus is on the bar. Great selection of craft beer and cocktails. However, the holiday decorations and lights hanging from the ceiling added to the vibe."

"The service food at Manny's are the absolute best. My only issue is that it gets very loud in the dining room. We try to go early to avoid this, but by the end of our dinner, it's hard to hear each other. This won't stop us from dining. We do love the place"

"I heard so many good reviews of this restaurant so we decided to try it. I'm in love! the chefs know their aromes! we ordered crab, chicken champignon and steak and we loved them all! the steak was exceptionally delicious! ceasar salat was the best I still had! desserts were phenomenal. the food made our hearts so happy! I am 9 months pregnant and was not comfortable at the table where they sat, so we asked for another table and they did it work even though it was a very busy night. we will definitely come back to lavelle."

"The food was good and well prepared. I have the Grouper, shrimp and scallops over rice with a cream sause. Me and my wife are gluten free and the waiter and restaurant accommodated our allergies with no issues. The wine was reasonably priced and the drinks were also. The view was excellent as it over looks the jetty inlet and the boats coming and going was relaxing. Waiter was pleasent and made the evening enjoyable. Overall a good experience! We will go back."

"Serves truly authentic Italian cuisine punctuated by flavorful fragrant tomato sauce. Italian food cooked by Italians. Good quality pasta cooked perfectly al dente Small but decent wine list too. Being Italian, I tend not to eat in Italian restaurants because I generally find most lacking. Angelo's is an exception. This is nonna's cooking :"

"We've been there twice. Service was both excellent. Great medieval atmosphere. Have once the beer drank cod and the Ribs / Chicken tenderers once they were all delicious. Also had skin as an app and the French onion soup is the best I ever had. The onions literally melt in the mouth! I love the rum-flight performers small glasses with 4 different tropical rum drinks. Almost two! We will come again frequently as we are happy to try everything on the menu!"

"Got the Mongolian Beef dinner via UberEats. It came with house rice and egg roll. Portion size is normal compared to Miami. The quality of the Mongolian Beef was good. I only wish the beef was shredded, instead of big chunks. Shredded is more flavorful. The fried rice quality was excellent... the only thing I hated was that for the free rice they loaded with junk parts like pork, ham, chicken bits. It would be nice to just give out a normal veggie fried rice. Egg roll was egg roll. Not a big fan. Spring Roll is best."

"It was one of the best fish frys I've had. Generous portion, served hot, salad came FIRST, clean place, fast seating even though it was a Friday night, ample parking, courteous, efficient... I have not eaten here before. As diner's go which is what this small town boy was raised to it is outstanding. What a find. Low stress, just like a diner should be. A nice end to a long week."

"Waited 45 minutes for a table. The window blind fell off then the employees didn't care enough to do something about it, like at least stick a few sheets of paper to shade the table which they put us at! Service was very slow half-hearted. Food was ok with tons of msg, which made me feel funky afterwards."

"During my visit to my son's new home, we discovered a diner not far from his place. My wife and I decided to have breakfast there. She ordered eggs, bacon, and fries, which she found to be excellent. I opted for the silver dollar pancakes, which were light and fluffy just the way I like them. The coffee surpassed my expectations, being the best diner coffee I've had in a long time. The diner had an old-fashioned charm to it, with super nice staff and a very clean atmosphere. We will definitely be returning during my next visit!"

"I lived in South Shores in San Pedro from 1975 to 1984. I then moved to Orange County and now reside in Ventura County. My man and I used to have a boat and would frequent restaurants along the coast."

"We were seated quickly, despite the restaurant being busy with two large parties. Despite having only one waitress, she took our order promptly. Our food took a bit longer to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the seafood board, which was delicious and could easily feed more than two people. My wife ordered the steamed clams, which were also tasty and came with a flavorful butter. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant."

"Classic anybody bar! Lots of regulars in the bar. Fish tacos are my favorite right now. More menu items left to try. Chicken tortilla soup bomb. Salad with blue cheese dressing. PIZZA PIZZA! Chicken salad with ranch and Italian dressing. Plus garlic bread. So beautiful I didn't want to eat it."

"Considering the Quinn’s do not own this place anymore, I can finally write in full honesty. The food is really good, the staff had their ups and downs like everyone else. I remember a day where one of the managers flipped over the entire Kiosk at the end of a hard night over relationship drama, or when I was cussed at by the previous owner, or when the big fat baldy baby bear of the brother, harassed and tormented me on the job during shifts when I first started. The place was a revolving door of Cook line managers one every season. All because none of them “wouldn’t abuse the key” something I vowed I wouldn’t do if I were a real key holding manager. If I were, I would’ve been able to do more as a team member to help the place continue its legacy it had for the 30+ years it was open. That was my goal and to lift weight off many a shoulder.I had good memories though, like watching games after work, chilling at parties. We were all simply human! We hade feelings! Those were times I really most enjoyed as a worker here! So there are both good and bad times alike."
