"The original location, Kahuna Tiki, is one of my favorite restaurants. Though the atmosphere at this new location was fantastic, the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. We were sat at our table at 8:15pm and it was 9:00pm before anyone came to our table to offer us menus or drinks. We ordered all of our drinks and food right away and it was another 40 minor so before we received our appetizers. Our entrees finally showed up around 10 and our drinks didn’t come until after we received our entrees. We finished our dinner when they were closing up, at 11pm. The food and drinks themselves were delicious….we just didn’t except that we would be there until closing. There might be several reasons for this, however, as it seemed they were very short staffed. This location also opened only a few months ago so they might still be working through all the wrinkles that come a long with that. Because of how much I like the original location I will definitely give this new location another try and hope for a better experience."

"What an unexpected leak. Never know where to eat, I put my eyes on BBQ. That was the next house, so here we are. If you are the first thing you notice, the mesquite wood smoke that fills the old diner. We chose the combination plate. Pig meat, chicken and beef, short and baby ribs, cut ham and briquette. We didn't even eat the sides. A few cold beers on tap and a fried twinkly for dessert. I'm so full. We'll share the record. Previously the best BBQ in Phoenix."

"Spent the day antiquing in st Joseph Missouri and found this great Irish pub for lunch. Easy to find , right on the main drag with plenty of street parking as well as a back parking lot. Fast and friendly service. There was a decent sized crowd for a Sunday. I enjoyed a cheese burger while my friend had a BLT without the bacon. My buddy is a vegetarian and never has any trouble finding something to eat no matter where we go! Hi ho has a vegetable pizza on the menu that sounds good as well as salads. The house made chips were excellent actually much better than the French fries. I will return to try their Rubin soon ."

"The go-to place to just hangout with a group of friends for good cheap drinks in UES. I’ve been here several times with just other person and it was just as fun. The patrons are also locals from the neighborhood, so that’s nice. The crowd is one of the reasons why I kept coming back. I came here on a holiday one day and found some locals just hanging out, it was a good time. I miss this bar now that I’m not in this neighborhood anymore. "I can't believe I passed this place up so many times, and didn't stop to try it before. Starting with the customer service, from the moment we walked in until we left, everyone was so pleasant and attentive! Super friendly and efficient! We ordered the rib and chicken combo, with Mac cheese, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Also added a cheddar Jalapeno cornbread muffin and fried onion strings. "So many good things I could say about this place. The meat they use for their philly cheese steaks is absolutely phenomenal! Not every place gets the taste just right, but these guys do. I am very picky when it comes to choosing a place for cheese steak and it took me a very long time to find q place after my fav restaurant before this one closed down.
