"We visited II Bel Lago for an appreciation dinner with buisness colleagues. The food and drinks were fantastic. The atmosphere is warm and attractive. The menu was top tier. We're definitely placing II Bel Lago in our top 5 favorites for Italian food in St. Louis. However, I will say that it was obvious that our waiting staff prioritized larger tables. "Went on a weeknight last week and was pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and efficient. The food is traditional Italian ,homemade style. Someone in our party ordered the eggplant lasagna and loved it. The appetizers of meatballs and calamari were good. The tortellini rose was excellent as was our carbonara dishes. We will definitely go back."
