"Warm and cozy : Kafein is a very special place. Baklava is Lebanese style; I was assuming/expecting a Greek stlye baklava, so that caught me by surprise. Great coffees and teas and other treats served here by friendly new owners. I'm so happy this place resembles the same as it did in the 1990s."

"Consistently good food. Not fantastic, not gourmet, just solid Americana. Sometimes the place can be slow, but it is a good place to watch some MN sports or happy hour after work. It is crowded during the Viking Sunday. Parking is just street parking, and it can be quite rough."

"Love the bartenders. Love the atmosphere.. not so much fan of changes to menu. No more steamed anything cause owners won?t buy a new steamer. The menu , bar and employees have made this a go to place. Been trying to like it since ownership changed but not same. Food is mostly good. But what used to fill you up now leaves you hungry. I think I need to move on to another haunt in Essex"

"This place has an amazing array of sandwiches like literally an entire page in their menu of different sandwiches, so Deb went Loretta, which was ham but fantastic. I went cream of potato soup with chunks of potatoes served with chips Service was spot on and quick Really good spot if you're in downtown Lincoln."
